Musim kompetisi EPL 2011/2012 masih belum bergulir (baru minggu depan nih akan serentak digelar matchday 1), Opa Alex udah mencanangkan target peraihan point untuk akhir musim nanti, yang tentunya result maksimal yang ingin dicapai, title #20 ..., amin amin

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson believes the competition in the Premier League will be so fierce that the winners will have to get to 84 points to secure the title.

Ferguson believes that Liverpool and Tottenham will join the top four to battle it out in what he describes as "the best product in football''.

He said: "To win the league in England is very difficult and it doesn't matter how you get the points, you just have to get them. You'll need 84 points to win the league next season - definitely.

"There will be increased competition in the league - I expect Liverpool to be better and added to the top four you have got Tottenham, although they have not done any buying this summer which is surprising, so you expect it's going to be a really tough league.

"You are looking at a top six fighting for a top four and that can only add to the excitement of the Premier League, which I think is the best product in the game now.

"In Germany next season all the season tickets are taken up in every ground and that will create a fantastic atmosphere in German grounds, but United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea have full houses every week and I still think we are the best product.''

Ferguson also dismissed reports linking Paris St Germain with a move for Dimitar Berbatov as "nonsense'', adding: "There's no encouragement for us either.''

The United boss is also unconcerned about the effect of internationals taking place on Wednesday, just three days before the start of the Premier League season.

He added: "They have been doing it for two or three years now so why should it be any different this year. I've no issue with it, some players may need a game during the week. We may have two or three players that actually need 90 minutes.

"England have done their very best under the circumstances to reduce the playing time for players - there's no replays in the Cup or the semi-final of the Cup, it goes to penalty kicks, the European clubs don't come into the League Cup until the later stages.

"We are trying to condense the English game as best we can to help players because you can't keep on playing the number of games and it not having an adverse effect.

"But with more and more internationals something has got to give and that's a big issue.''

Fergie Yakin Berikan Titel ke-20 untuk MU

Manchester, detiksport - Premier League musim depan merupakan edisi ke-20 kompetisi tersebut setelah pertama dihelat di tahun 1993 silam. Di kesempatan yang sama, Manchester United yakin bisa meraih titelnya yang ke-20.

MU meraih titel juaranya yang ke-19 musim lalu setelah mengalahkan Chelsea, Arsenal dan Manchester City. Gelar tersebut sekaligus menjadikan The Red Devils sebagai klub tersukses di tanah Inggris, mengalahkan Liverpool yang sebelumnya sama-sama mengumpulkan 18 titel.

Jelang bergulirnya musim kompetisi 2011/12, MU masih dianggap sebagai kandidat kuat juara. Apalagi mereka juga terhitung sangat aktif di bursa transfer dengan telah melakukan pembelian strategis dalam diri Phil Jones, Ashley Young dan Davi De Gea.

Tepat di edisi ke-20 Premier League, MU punya target menambah lagi titel juaranya juga menjadi berjumlah 20. Sesuatu yang diyakini Sir Alex Ferguson sangat mungkin terjadi.

"Melihat kembali terobosan yang kami lakukan di tahun 1993 saat kami memenangi Premier League yang pertama, saya tak pernah membayangkan kalau kami akan melangkahi apa yang didapat Liverpool," tulis Sir Alex Ferguson dalam buku Premier League jelang bergulirnya musim baru.

"Kami akan mencoba sekuat mungkin untuk menjadikannya titel yang ke-20 di musim Premier League yang ke-20. Tapi ini semua bukanlah sikap sombong," lanjut pria asal Skotlandia itu.

Catatan MU sejak era Premier League dimulai memang sangat luar biasa. Dari 19 musim yang sudah dihelat mereka berhasil memenangi 12 di antaranya. Hanya Blackbun Rovers, Arsenal dan Chelsea yang mampu merebut titel juara dari mereka dalam kurun tersebut.

"Keseluruhan (periode) Premier League telah menjadi era yang luar biasa buat Manchester United," seru Presiden Eksekutif David Gill terkait kick off musim 2011/12 yang akan dimulai pada 13 Agustus pekan depan.

Intinya... Maksimalkan pertandingan away... Jangan kaya musim kemaren kita dibuat dag dig duer gara2 kebanyakan draw di away...

klo konsisten kaya awal2 musim gini sih rasanya target opa sangat realistis..
cuma tkutnya ntar tengah musim konsistensi permainan berkurang..
ato seperti kata oom panda pertandingan awaynya bikin dag dig dug... banyak imbang itu pun imbang karena berhasil comeback..

tp amit2 dah.. jangan same keulang lg kaya musim kemaren.. harus bis akonsisten ampe akhir musim...
