LUKE Paul Hoare SHAW


Luke Paul Hoare Shaw (born 12 July 1995) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Southampton and the England national team. He primarily plays as an attack-minded left back.

Originally a member of Southampton's youth system, Shaw made his first-team debut for the club in January 2012, and signed his first professional contract in May that year before becoming a regular in the Southampton team. On 5 March 2014, he made his senior international debut in a 1-0 friendly win against Denmark.

Manchester United Look To Complete Kroos And Shaw Deals

According to reports, Manchester United are on the verge of completing a double move for Southampton youngster Luke Shaw and Bayern Munich attacking midfielder Toni Kroos.

The Daily Star reports that United have managed to agree a deal with Bayern Munich over the transfer of Toni Kroos, a target of United’s even before former Bayern boss Louis Van Gaal was appointed as David Moyes’ successor.

Kroos has been linked with a move with his contract set to expire next year and the arrival of Van Gaal has only increased United’s chances of completing a deal.

Shaw’s transfer from Southampton to United is also on the verge of completion, with the article suggesting he is to become Van Gaal’s first signing as United boss before the World Cup kicks off next month.

Van Gaal is thought to be looking at signing at least five players this summer as he looks to challenge for the Premier League title in his first season.

Everyone in the Premier League is expecting Manchester United to spend big this summer.

The club are heavily linked to a number of high quality players including Southampton’s Luke Shaw and Bayern Munich’s Toni Kroos.

According to the Telegraph, Man United are confident of bringing in both these players before the World Cup begins in mid-June.

Luke Shaw has already been the subject of two bids from Man United and Kroos has only one year left on his contract at Bayern Munich.

Central midfielders, central defenders and a left back are considered the key areas for improvement at Old Trafford this summer.

Sama seperti kejadian LVG, akan segera diumumkan tapi tunda2 terus. Shaw juga sama aja. Dari setelah vs Soton dulu sampe sekarang kabarnya2 terus. Tapi ya moga setelah kepastian LVG, isu Shaw juga segera "DEAL".

SHAW DEAL CONFIRMED ON MUTV

Manchester United’s official channel MUTV have confirmed that a deal for Luke Shaw has been completed.


A deal to bring Shaw to Old Trafford has been long touted but is yet to be confirmed.

It was reported that Shaw’s club Southampton rejected United’s initial £27m bid, hoping to receive £30m for the 18 year old.

It appears United reached their valuation because Mark Ogden, the man that broke news that Sir Alex Ferguson would be retiring, has said on the club’s official channel that the deal is done.

Speaking on MUTV, Ogden is reported to have said:

“I expect Luke Shaw to move to Manchester United at some point.”

For Ogden to have made such a claim on MUTV, and with his past record when it comes to United news it’s fair to say that this is a story that has some legs.

Latest reports claim that Shaw wants to focus on the World Cup, so talk of a United move is on hold but this could also be because a deal has already been completed and simply waiting to be announced.

Lallana has expressed a desire to join Liverpool but Southampton want £30m while Liverpool have offered £25m including add-on proposals that Southampton consider unrealistic.

Liverpool are hopeful of concluding a £16.5m deal for Sevilla left-back Alberto Moreno over the coming days.

However, it is understood a loan move for Liverpool midfielder Suso will no longer be part of the transfer.
