Default Re: [EPL] Burnley vs Man Utd

Burnley vs Manchester United, Players Rating
MEN

Foster: Handled well but he was worked more than he should have been 6

O'Shea: Back to right back for most of game but couldn't fully cut off the supply that came in from Burnley's left flank 5

Brown: Not an easy night to be looking for sharpness after injury but stuck to his task in first start 5

Evans:
Looked United's most comfortable defender in face of Burnley's enthusiastic attack 6

Evra:
Decent effort from the Frenchman. Attacked well when he had the oppprtunity 6

Park: Korean's first touch was distinctly ropey early on and he never made an impact 5

Carrick: His poor effort from the spot kick that would have made huge difference summed up his night 5

Giggs:
The veteran made better use of the ball than most but didn't get much response 6

Anderson: Out of it wide left in first half and out of sorts for brief period in centre of midfield 5

Owen: Not an evening to be attempting to rediscover your touch in front of goal 5

Rooney:
Had plenty of sights of goal but was off beam with all his efforts 6

Valencia
(sub Anderson 59)

Berbatov (sub Owen 64)
