UNDER-18S HANDED SEMI-FINAL DERBY DATE

There will be a Manchester derby in the semi-finals of the Under-18 Premier League Cup.

United have been drawn away to City, with the tie due to take place on Saturday 16 February. Full details are still to be confirmed.

The game is a one-off, with extra-time and penalties if required.

The other last-four tie is between Championship clubs Middlesbrough and Derby County.

Neil Ryan’s boys qualified for this stage with a superb 3-2 win at Liverpool last weekend, as Mason Greenwood scored two free-kicks.

The Reds drew 3-3 with City in November at the Aon Training Complex and are due to meet them again in the league at the Academy Stadium on 13 April.

Chelsea are the current holders of the Premier League Cup, after beating London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the final of the inaugural competition last season.
