Manchester United have reportedly upped their interest in the highly promising talent Willy Kambwala by making an opening bid.
The 15-year-old has caught the attention of the Red Devils as an emerging prospect from the France Under 16s, and is seen as one of the decade's next break out stars.
According to getfootballnewsfrance.com, United are ready to test his club Sochaux with an opening bid of €1million (£900,000).
However the French second tier outfit are set to reject the approach from the Red Devils, insisting they will only open talks over a transfer if they double their offer.
Although the centre-back is interested in a move to United, it is thought he will not force through a move to Old Trafford out of respect to the club that have brought him through their academy.
At just 15-years-old he is not yet eligible for a senior contract in England, and he still has two years to run on his current youth deal at Sochaux.

Meanwhile, United could face a shortfall of £25million from adidas this summer if they do not qualify for the Champions League.
United have a £75m-per-year deal with the kit supplier but will only be paid £50m by the company if they miss out once again at returning to Europe's top table.
Only goal difference is keeping them out of the top four in the Premier League heading into the final three games, while Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side still also hope to win the Europa League in August which would also guarantee a spot among Europe's elite.
