Manchester City fans will have to subscribe to MUTV if they want to watch the Manchester derby in Houston on Friday.
United’s in-house TV station is the only rights holder in the UK and Ireland for the first derby to be played on foreign soil – meaning that City fans will have little choice but to pay the monthly subscription of £7 if they want to tune in.
City included the information on their website telling fans how they could watch the game.

The two teams play in the International Champions Cup in Houston’s NRG Arena in the early hours of Friday morning, a year after their meeting in Beijing was scrapped because of the state of the pitch at the Bird’s Nest Stadium.
United have won their two friendly games, against LA Galaxy and Real Salt Lake, but this will be City’s first game on tour.
