Default Re: [EPL] Manchester United 0-0 Liverpool

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer tells Manchester United squad Liverpool 'won't win Premier League and are one dimensional' after 0-0 draw

* Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 'doesn't think Liverpool good enough to win the league'
* Manchester United held off the leaders with relative ease in their 0-0 draw
* Solskjaer reportedly let team know he was unimpressed by Jurgen Klopp's Reds

Manchester United interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer does not think Liverpool are good enough to win the Premier League title, according to reports.

Solskjaer reportedly let his players know in no uncertain terms that he was unimpressed by the Reds after their 0-0 draw at Old Trafford on Sunday.

United held off the league leaders with relative ease despite suffering a slew of injuries on Sunday, and Solskjaer was reportedly damning of Liverpool's quality.

A United source reportedly told the Sun: 'Ole was very blunt about Liverpool with his players and clearly believes they do not have enough to beat City to the title.

'He thinks they are very one dimensional, lacking creativity. He certainly has faith that his team are a better outfit.'

Sunday's goalless draw saw Liverpool return to the top of the league but raised questions about their ability to stay ahead of Manchester City.

Jurgen Klopp's team are one point ahead of City with 11 matches remaining, as they seek a first league title since 1990.

Klopp himself seemed unimpressed with the quality on display on Sunday - TV cameras caught him saying 'F*****g hell, what a s*** game' to Solskjaer as they shook hands following the final whistle.

His irritation at the poor quality of the match was understandable - his side had 65 per cent possession but only one shot on target

The match was affected by several injuries in the first half, with the hosts losing Ander Herrera, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard while Liverpool had to replace Roberto Firmino with Daniel Sturridge after half an hour.

United meanwhile remain unbeaten in the Premier League since Solskjaer replaced the sacked Jose Mourinho as manager.

The Norwegian took over following United losing 3-1 to Liverpool earlier this season, in the reverse league fixture at Anfield.

Since then, United have won eight of their 10 league matches, and will aim to continue that run on Wednesday when they visit Crystal Palace. Liverpool host Watford.
