The 38-year-old made a massive impact after his return in January and technical director Paolo Maldini had already confirmed he had made Ibra’s renewal his priority.
Zlatan contributed 10 goals in 18 Serie A games since his return and will help the club build on their 13-game unbeaten run when the Italian League resumes on September 19.
Ibrahimovic has been absent from the Rossoneri's pre-season training under coach Stefano Pioli.
He will now return immediately for training.
