Club sacks innocent student !
A young and innocent student working for United to earn his college fees has been sacked by the club, after he donned a Green & Gold scarf while serving at a kiosk. This is the second time an employee has been fired for supporting a just and honest campaign... simply, it's a disgrace !
The Glazers and club staff have recently moved to distance any club officials or players with the Green & Gold Campaign. The club has now; 1.) banned players from speaking out publicly about the anti-Glazer protests 2.) strongly told MUTV and MANUTD.COM not to make any reference to Green & Gold 3.) sacked any club official for either supporting or been involved in the campaign, including speaking about the matter !
The club sacked a veteran steward earlier this year for attempting to return confiscated property to a fan - a Green & Gold banner. The steward in question served at Manchester United FC for nearly 20 years, match in, match out. He had never previously been in trouble. And yet the club had no respect whatsoever for the poor bloke for doing exactly what was right. They could have easily given him a warning or a weeks pay suspended, but no, they just chucked him out...
The same a**hle superiors have now sacked a young college student, working part-time and helping out his local club. The student wore a Green & Gold scarf, and his bosses somehow saw it as an offence to fire him for. Since when have your heard of something so mindless: a college student being fired for wearing a scarf ?, surely there is some kind of employee code that can prevent this kind of discrimanation from happening !
It's basically the same as firing a person with a different religion or belief for wearing a religious statement. In this case; the religion or belief is not having the debt-ridden Glazer family in-charge and the religious statement is obviously the Green & Gold scarf.
So, can the bosses really fire an official for wearing anti-Glazer apparel ?, well if the FA got-up off their fat lazy asses we might have an answer. But in the meantime, I will be writing to the club, the FA and Greater Manchester Police on the matter - so they might cough-up an answer for us... stay tuned !
