Default Re: Who Will Go This Summer ??

Mulling over Paulo Dybala, locked in Harry Maguire talks with Leicester and waiting for Inter to make a serious bid for Romelu Lukaku... how Manchester United's summer transfer business is shaping up as end of window looms

* Manchester United have already recruited two players this transfer window
* However, United's top brass are working behind the scenes to bring in more
* They have not met Leicester's valuation of Harry Maguire and are in talks
* No bid has been made for Nicolas Pepe and Bruno Fernandes' fee is too high
* Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku could still potentially exit the club this summer

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first transfer window as permanent Manchester United boss has seen two players come through the door.

United, following the recruitment of Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, are now working behind the scenes on a list of players who they would like to further bolster the ranks – but could there be some casualties, too?

Sportsmail looks at the potential ins and outs at Old Trafford this summer and how likely it is that each deal will happen...

INS...

Harry Maguire

It is no secret that Solskjaer wants Harry Maguire in to shore up his backline this season as he eyes a title challenge. United have made two bids, neither of which have matched Leicester's £80million valuation of the player. The two clubs are currently locked in talks in an attempt to find the magic number.

Sean Longstaff

Newcastle prodigy Sean Longstaff certainly fits United's blueprint this summer – young, exciting and British. United's top brass have, as yet, not followed up on their initial offer for the player, with Newcastle holding out for £50m – a valuation they have based on United's purchase of Wan-Bissaka. Ed Woodward and Co are currently weighing up their next move with a £30m bid likely to be made in the coming days.

Bruno Fernandes

Bruno Fernandes has made no bones about the fact he wants to play in England and the midfielder has admitted he feels a little bit in limbo at Sporting given United's interest. Sportsmail understands United are hesitant to pay the £70m asking price and Sporting will be reluctant to accept anything less. But reports from the continent claim a deal is further down the line and talks continue.

Paulo Dybala

While there has been little movement yet, it is understood that United are keeping tabs on Juventus star Paulo Dybala in the event Romelu Lukaku leaves Old Trafford. Solskjaer is thought to be a huge admirer of the Argentina international and United would have to fork out between £70m-£90m – which would prove no problem if Inter up their bid for Lukaku. It is understood Juve are willing to sell if their demands are met and could even use the Argentine as bait to land Lukaku themselves.

Nicolas Pepe

Sportsmail understands that Nicolas Pepe is not a target for United and the club have made no bid for the jet-heeled Lille winger. In fact, United believe they are being used to jack up the asking price for the player, with Lille demanding upwards of £70m for the 24-year-old. It would appear that Arsenal is a more likely destination.

Kalidou Koulibaly

Should a deal for Maguire fall through, United see Napoli star Kalidou Koulibaly as their Plan B. However it is thought United are not seriously pursuing the player at this stage, with the Leicester centre back firmly at the forefront of their efforts.

Kalidou Koulibaly could be United's back-up plan if their pursuit of Maguire falls flat

Sergeij Milinkovic-Savic

While United's priority remains firmly on keeping Paul Pogba at Old Trafford, they appear to have identified their primary target to replace him. Reports emanating from Italy claim the player's agent, former Chelsea striker Mateja Kezman, has flown into London to hold talks over a potential £72m deal. However, United can expect the towering Serb to stay at Lazio should they convince Pogba not to leave.

OUTS...

Romelu Lukaku

United have already rejected a £54m offer from Inter Milan for Romelu Lukaku. The Old Trafford club are now waiting on Inter to put in a serious bid for the Belgian, who United value at around £90m. Inter boss Antonio Conte has spoken openly about his admiration of the striker and is likely to return with an improved bid. Lukaku hinted on Saturday that he is close to leaving the Red Devils by tweeting a picture with his agent Federico Pastorello along with the caption 'Soon to be continued'.

Paul Pogba

There are many moving parts in the Paul Pogba transfer saga. The player has expressed his desire to leave United, while Real Madrid, his preferred destination, are desperately looking to offload Gareth Bale to drum up half of Pogba's £150m transfer fee and free up £600,000 per week from their wage bill. Solskjaer, however, is determined to keep him, especially given the exit of experienced midfielder Ander Herrera.
