Manchester United to be shown on TV for 64th time in 65 FA Cup games as clash with Reading is amongst third round ties selected for broadcast

The TV selections for the FA Cup third round ties have been made, with Manchester United's clash with Reading amongst the games to be shown.

The game at Old Trafford will be shown on BT Sport 2, and will kick off at 12.30pm on Saturday January 5.

This is the 64th out of United's last 65 FA Cup ties to have been selected for broadcast since 2005, with their run of 58 ties being shown in a row having come to an end at the third round stage last season when their game against Derby in the third round wasn't shown live.


Manchester United's clash against Reading in the FA Cup third round will be shown live. It is the 64th time in 65 FA Cup matches that Manchester United will be shown live



Meanwhile, Watford's game away to National League South side Woking will also be on BT Sport 2, kicking off at 2pm on Sunday January 6.

Tottenham's tie away to Tranmere Rovers or Southport will kick off at 7.45pm on Friday January 4, and will be on BT Sport 2.

Another game being shown on BT Sport 2 is Arsenal's trip to take on either Solihull Moors or Blackpool, with that fixture kicking off at 5.30pm on January 5.

Leicester's game away to Wrexham or Newport County will be on BBC 1 on January 6 at 4.30pm.

The same channel will also show Wolves against Liverpool the following night at 7.45pm.

Holders Chelsea are hosting Nottingham Forest but that game hasn't been selected for broadcast.
