Sir Bobby Charlton made 758 appearances for The Red Devils in 17 glory-filled seasons at Old Trafford, where he scored a massive 249 goals. The 73-year-old has gone down as one of the club's greatest-ever midfielders, awarded with an honorary position at the club following his retirement. Charlton has sat on many highly-ranking football authorities over the years, and the former World Cup winner plays a major role with FIFA.

Charlton has recently received a central duty to improving football globally ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Named the 'Task-Force Football 2014', the 22-strong member committee will decide on methods of improving the credibility and sustainability of the game. Joining the legendary English mid are the likes of Germany's Franz Beckenbauer, Brazil's Pele and Cafu, England's Alex Horne and France's Christian Karembeu among many others.
