UNDER-18S ARRANGE RANGERS FRIENDLY
Manchester United's Under-18s have arranged a Valentine's Day friendly against Rangers.
The youth fixture will take place with a noon kick-off at the Ibrox outfit's training centre and enables the youngsters to enjoy another game in a new environment.
Kieran McKenna's Reds recently beat Aston Villa 5-3 in a friendly, following an Under-17s outing against Birmingham City, and the importance of creating a games programme tailored to suit the group as a whole cannot be underestimated.
"We played Aston Villa last weekend here [at the Aon Training Complex], which was a good game," explained McKenna to MUTV. "It was a really good game. We tend to get, touch wood, plenty of goals when we play out on the match pitch and it was the same last weekend. Hopefully, it'll be the same in the league against Derby this weekend."
