SINGAPORE - Former Manchester United captain Bryan Robson's first competitive match as coach of Thailand ended in a 3-1 victory over Singapore in a Group E Asian Cup qualifier on Saturday.
Winger Suksomkit Suttee gave the former England captain's side the lead from the penalty spot in the 12th minute after a handball in the area.
Substitute Therdsak Chaiman volleyed home the second, against the run of play, with 14 minutes to go and Suksomkit added a third with a right foot finish five minutes later.
