Marcus Rashford, Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson have officially been promoted to the Manchester United first-team ahead of the new season.

The Sun have revealed that teenage trio have all moved into the first-team’s dressing rooms at the club’s Carrington training grround after impressing manager Jose Mourinho.

Rashford was one of the shining lights in an otherwise difficult season for the Red Devils last year as he scored a brace on both his European and Premier League debuts against FC Midtjylland and Arsenal respectively.

He also netted the winner on his first appearance in a Manchester derby and ended the campaign with five goals to his name from 11 league appearances.

Rashford's form was good enough to see him called up by the former England manager Roy Hodgson for this summer's European Championships, despite making a combined total of five appearances for the u16, u18 and u20's sides.

On his international debut, the teenager netted within three minutes against Australia and went on to make two further appearances in France - becoming the youngest ever player to represent the Three Lions at a Euros finals when he replaced Adam Lallana in the Group B clash with Wales.
