Default Re: [UCL] Manchester United 0-2 PSG

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 'rages in Manchester United dressing room' following defeat by PSG

* Paris Saint-Germain handed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer his first defeat as interim boss
* He reportedly made sure his players knew exactly how he felt after the match
* Man United face a difficult task to overturn the 2-0 deficit in Paris next month

Manchester United interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 'showed his anger in the dressing room' following his side's 2-0 defeat by PSG on Tuesday night.

Goals from Presnel Kimpembe and Kylian Mbappe handed Solskjaer his first defeat in the Old Trafford hotseat.

And the 45-year-old reportedly made sure his players knew exactly how he felt in the changing room afterwards.

'He told them that they tried to play the game as if it was a one legged tie,' a source at the Premier League club told The Sun.

'He wanted them to remain patient and not to concede easy goals and they then went and conceded from a relatively easy set-piece and everything just went downhill from there.'

Despite being frustrated by the way his side played against the Ligue 1 leaders, Solskjaer remained upbeat ahead of the return leg at the Parc des Princes on March 6.

'The players were so deflated after the game - they haven't felt that bad since the time Mourinho was in charge. He tried to keep them optimistic about the second leg,' the source said.

'He told them that they have to remain positive in football because anything can happen.'

United face a difficult task to overturn the 2-0 deficit in Paris next month and will play the second leg without star Paul Pogba.

The midfielder was sent off for a second bookable offence late on in the clash at Old Trafford.

Solskjaer's side turn their attention to the FA Cup with a trip to Stamford Bridge to play Chelsea in the fifth round of the competition up next.
