Neville not focused on England
Gary Neville believes his England career could be over having been overlooked for another England squad by Fabio Capello.
The Italian instead prefers the 34-year-old's Manchester United team-mate Wes Brown as understudy to first choice right-back Glen Johnson.
The defender has endured an injury plagued two seasons at Old Trafford and has not played for his country since the 1-0 defeat to Spain at the Theatre of Dreams in 2007.
However Neville received a somewhat surprising call-up for the World Cup qualifiers against Kazakhstan and Andorra last June but failed to add to his 85 caps.
"To be honest, I am not looking at an England return," he told United Review.
"The time has probably come for Glen Johnson or Wes Brown now. They have done very well and I think they are the first-choice players.
"It doesn't mean I would turn down the opportunity if it came but it is not something I am focusing on."
Neville made his England debut in 1995 against Japan and has played in two World Cups and three European Championships over the years.
