Tottenham Lirik Juan Mata

Bola.net - Tottenham dikabarkan siap mengajukan penawaran senilai 18,3 juta poundsterling untuk mendapatkan Juan Mata dari Manchester United di musim panas yang akan datang.

Mata, yang sebelumnya pernah jadi target Spurs sebelum akhirnya pindah ke Chelsea di tahun 2011, mengalami pasang surut karir selama berada di United.

Laporan Metro mengatakan bahwa Tottenham akan berusaha keras untuk membujuk sang pemain pergi dengan tawaran mencapai 18,3 juta poundsterling, dan Mauricio Pochettino berharap keinginan klub tersebut bisa terwujud.

Mata excited for the derby and says Herrera is a genius

In his latest blog on his personal website, shared with ManUtd.com, Juan Mata discusses in-form team-mate Ander Herrera and looks ahead to Sunday's Manchester derby...

Hi everyone. I’m writing to you after a weekend full of good feelings. As you know, the Premier League, and all the European leagues, resumed after the international break and I was eager to play again after the good vibes we had in Anfield.

It was on Saturday, and it was a great day at Old Trafford. The team performed at a very high level, we fought from the very first minute to win the game and we were able to score in decisive moments to make things difficult for Aston Villa. We tried to use both wings and circulate the ball fast, and actually that’s how we scored. Three great goals, I’d say.

Wayne’s goal was spectacular, really nice to watch; not many players can score a goal like that. And two more goals from Ander. I think this is the first time he scores twice in a game and I’m very happy for him! The truth is he deserves it. He is a genius on and off the pitch and I know how happy he was after the game.

The team is improving. This is our fifth consecutive win in the Premier League and we want to keep this streak going. Winning the derby against City on Sunday could be very important for the battle in the top four. A derby is always special and we must be careful with City’s attacking players, because they can win the game in an isolated play.

In Spain, things are also very exciting in the top four. First came Atletico’s win, followed by Real Madrid’s 9-1, with five goals from Cristiano Ronaldo. Valencia drew against a good Villarreal and Barcelona beat Celta with a goal from Mathieu, my former Valencia team-mate. Starting Tuesday we have a new week in La Liga's calendar with good games scheduled, so things will remain very exciting at the top and bottom of the table.

When I went back home from Old Trafford I could watch some football on TV and I want to highlight the names of Thiago Alcantara, a superb footballer and friend, who is back to a football pitch after a long and tricky injury, and David Barral for his hat-trick with Levante. I also wish Iker Muniain a speedy recovery, I hope his injury is not as serious as it seemed. Cheer up, crack!

Of course, talking about great moments of the weekend, Charlie Adam’s goal was incredible. It’s so difficult to score from that far, even more against a goalkeeper like Courtois. It reminded me of Rooney’s goal at West Ham last season, or Beckham a few years ago against Wimbledon. What is your favourite goal from long range?

Mata and Herrera enjoy telepathic understanding

Juan Mata enjoys a near telepathic link-up with Manchester United team-mate Ander Herrera, which is down to the fact they "understand football and life in more or less the same way."

The duo have been in inspired form of late, each turning out to be two-goal heroes in the Reds' last two games. Stats show that United have only lost one of the eight games the pair have started together this season and the Spaniards have netted five goals in the last four games in which they've been in the first XI.

Mata famously hit a brace in the 2-1 win at Liverpool last month, with his first being expertly set up by his fellow midfielder. Juan then returned the favour for Herrera against Aston Villa last weekend when he laid on a pass in injury-time for Ander to steer home his second of the game in a 3-1 victory.

As well as training alongside each other every day, the two midfielders spent many years playing together at youth level for the Spanish national team and Mata cites their close friendship off the pitch as another important factor in their understanding on it.

"I think it’s because of the relationship we’ve had over the years and because we understand football and life in more or less the same way," he told ManUtd.com and MUTV.

"I think we play well together because we understand each other and sometimes without speaking or looking we know where we're going to pass or where we're going to move on the pitch.

"The first goal at Anfield is a good example of that - he controlled the ball, turned and knew where I was already running to and he put the ball there. Ander is a quality player and I’m very happy he’s here and playing and performing well."

Juan Mata: Tugas Manchester United Belum Selesai

“Ini sebuah kemajuan menuju Liga Champions, ini kemenangan besar dan meningkatkan kepercayaan diri kami,” tegas Mata kepada Sky Sports.

“Tapi Arsenal tim besar dan City serta Liverpool akan berjuang hingga akhir.”

Mantan bintang Chelsea juga memuji atmosfer Old Trafford yang terus memberikan dukungan meski tuan rumah tidak memulai laga dengan baik dan sempat tertinggal gol Sergio Aguero.

“Di 10 atau 15 menit pertama City tampil brilian, tapi setelah itu kami menunjukkan karakter dan bangkit. Ini hasil masif dan semua orang dari United bahagia.

“Atmosfer luar biasa, ini sesuatu yang tak akan pernah kami lupa. Kami masih memiliki enam laga dan harus terus bekerja,” tandas Mata.

Usai Bungkam City, Juan Mata Siap Ladeni Chelsea

Juan Mata Kirim Pesan Kepada Fans dan Pemain Chelsea



Bola.net - Juan Mata mengatakan kepada fans dan para pemain Chelsea bahwa ia akan selamanya berterima kasih setelah sambutan hangat kepadanya saat kembali ke Stamford Bridge.

Akhir pekan lalu memang menjadi laga penuh emosi bagi seorang Mata. Sebelum bergabung dengan Manchester United pada Januari tahun lalu, Mata menghabiskan dua setengah musim di Chelsea dan membawa The Blues meraih Liga Champions dan Liga Europa serta dua kali terpilih sebagai pemain terbaik Chelsea.

Namun kedatangan Jose Mourinho musim lalu membuat Mata tak lagi menjadi pilihan utama di skuat The Blues dan terpaksa membuatnya pindah ke Old Trafford. Meski begitu, pada laga akhir pekan lalu Mata tetap mendapatkan sambutan hangat dari publik Stamford Bridge.

"Itu benar-benar perasaan emosional dengan penghormatan dari publik Stamford Bridge dan kasih sayang mereka. Saya akan selalu berterima kasih untuk itu. Untuk suporter dan juga para pemain. Saya berterima kasih atas kasih sayang dan saya mengucapkan selama untuk mereka atas trofi yang segera mereka menangkan, karena ini segera usai," ujarnya.
