Nike will extend their contract for United kits
Kontrak Nike sama United baru akan habis musim 2015 mendatang, sejak 2002 sekiranya United dpt 23.5 juta pound dr perusahaan asal Oregon tsb per musimnya.
GA bs dipungkiri Jersey United menjadi andalan 'dagangan' Nike di seluruh dunia bersama Barcelona dll. Tapi masuknya perusahaan Warrior atau NEw Balance ke kit Liverpool dua musim mendatang, dijadiin rumor New Balance mau ambil kontrak Nike di United juga. Dipastiin Nike ga mau dnk kehilangan United, walaupun masih 4 musim lagi habis kontrak, sepertinya dlm waktu dekat United bakal reach agreement untuk memperpanjang kontrak dng Nike. Setelah mengakuisi Perancis yg lekat dng Adidas sebesar 38 juta pound per musim. United jd tim kedua yg dibayar nike paling mahal stlah timnas Perancis.

Manchester United Demanding £450 Million Nike Kit Deal
(United Latest) Manchester United will attempt to reach a new kit manufacturing deal with Nike in the coming months, which could see The Red Devils earn up to £35 Million per annum and over £450 Million over a period of more than a decade. The current deal with the world's no.1 sports brand expires in 2015, and will soon be renegotiated... The France national football team recently agreed a €42.5 (£38) Million-a-year contract with Nike, lasting 7½ years. The total amount paid to The French Football Federation (The FFF) will eventually reach €319.5 (£282) Million, setting the tone for new kit manufacturing deals negotiated with American-based sports brand, Nike. Due to the fact that United obliterate France's global popularity, Nike will have to pay at least £35 Million per year to The Reds in future. Talks have not yet commenced, but are expected to conclude before 2012. The current 13 year deal ends in 2015, having been agreed in August 2002 after Umbro, Admiral Sports and Adidas had all previously manufactured the club's kits and other merchandise. United currently receive less than £23.5 Million each year from Nike - amounting to £303 Million over more than a decade. The new deal is expected to be boosted by over £10 Million per year. Recent contracts have seen United's world-record kit deal broken, with France and Barcelona both earning long-term arrangements with Nike worth £38 Million and £26.3 Million every year respectively. Added to this is the fact that rivals Liverpool are dropping kit creator Adidas for New Balance 'Warrior Sports' for the beginning of the 2012/2013 season, having agreed a £25 Million-a-year pact, over a currently unspecified time frame. Considering Manchester United outsell any other sports team in the world in terms of merchandising, Nike or United cannot afford to lose their lucrative agreement. According to sources, The Glazer Family are targeting a £450 Million deal with Nike, over a period of more than 10 years - most likely 13 years. That would bring-in upwards of £35 Million to Old Trafford annually from Nike alone, not to mention approximately £100 Million in other sponsorship payments.

Liverpool's mammoth £25m-a-year Warrior kit deal rewrites the record books
By Sportsmail Reporter Last updated at 5:59 PM on 22nd April 2011 Liverpool have wrapped up a £25m-a-year kit deal with Boston-based company Warrior Sports — a record for English football and twice what adidas currently pay. Warrior, a subsidiary of New Balance, will take over from adidas ahead of the 2012-13 season and it is expected to be a long-term relationship which puts Nike’s deal with Manchester United - worth £23.5m - into the shade. The news comes as a huge blow to their current kit manufacturers as Liverpool's shirt is the fourth-highest selling replica in the world. Around 900,000 shirts are sold annually, a number only beaten by North West rivals United, plus Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona. Liverpool owner John W Henry had said that the club would only spend money that it generates and with Champions League football at least another season away, the promise of funds will boost the club's muscle in the transfer market. New Balance, a brand best-known for its running shoes, has been increasing its footprint in other sports for some time now and recently announced a deal with the Boston Red Sox to manufacture their kits. Warrior are a big player in the United States where they have traditionally been associated with ice hockey and lacrosse. The company, set up by Dave Morrow - who also invented the first ever titanium lacrosse stick - was bought out by New Balance in 2004. The brand was transformed from a niche-market player to a huge brand big enough to sign a multi-year deal with the baseball giants Red Sox. As part of the company's expansion, they have increased the number of player sponsorships and worldwide sales totalling £1billion has facilitated the move into football. United's deal with Nike runs until 2015 and the club will be expecting to to negotiate a deal that places them in a higher price bracket to Liverpool.
