United akan maen dengan pakem yang sama week in, week out...
which is bad for us... taktik dan gaya permainan United sudah gampang ditebak...
dan penyegaran itu tidak ada... apalagi faktor FEAR... yang dulu ada di diri RONALDO... sekarang tidak ada lagi...
kita harus mengembalikan unsur ketakutan itu balik ke gaya main kita.... kita ga punya seseorang yang mampu mendikte permainan....

Steven Roger "Steve" Bruce sejauh ini berhasil membawa Sunderland bersaing di papan tengah British Premier League. Dengan torehan. Poin, saat ini Sunderland mantap menduduki posisi ke. Di Liga.
Fans UNITED tentu kenal betul siapa Steve Bruce. Bersama duetnya di belakang Gary Pallister, Bruce berhasil mempersembahkan gelar Premier League, Piala FA, Piala Liga, dan UEFA cup bagi UNITED. Bergabung bersama UNITED pada 1987, Bruce merupakan salah satu pemain belakang yang pernah dimiliki oleh inggris. Akan tetapi sayangnya Bruce belum pernah sekalipun membela timnas inggris di Tim utama. Gaya bermainnya yang khas dengan mengandalkan keutaman fisik dalam "berduel" dengan striker lawan, tampaknya masih terbawa hingga saat ini( Bruce menjadi manajer Sunderland ).

Darren Bent merupakan momok bagi pertahanan lawan, lihat saja bagaimana bent membuat barisan belakang liverpool kalang kabut sabtu lalu. Torehan 5 gol yang sudah dicetak bent sejauh ini, menggambarkan bagaimana kualitas Bent saat berada di kotak penalti lawan. Huges memang sampai saat ini masih menerapkan permainan yang mengedepankan keunggulan fisik pemain. Di lini tengah Sunderland lee Cattermole menjadi tumpuan permainan Sunderland bersama Steed Malbranque, sedangkan di lini belakang Sunderland philip Bardsley masih akan menjadi tumpuan di jantung pertahanan Sunderland.

Sejauh ini Sunderland mencatat 1 kemenangan dan 2 hasil seri dikandang, di satu sisi yang lain UNITED sendiri tidak memiliki catatan yg bagus saat menjalani partai Tandang.

Jalannya pertandingan akan berjalan atraktif. Sunderland akan berusaha melakukan tekanan habis-habisan di lini tengah UNITED untuk mencegah kreativitas gelandang-gelandang UNITED. Mungkin SAF mulai perlu untuk melakukan Man TO Man Marking terhadap Bent(Vidic), ini untuk mencegah Bent bisa terlalu bebas bergerak dan menciptakan peluang di kotak penalti UNITED. Di sisi kanan pertahanan UNITED, SAF mungkin perlu menginstruksikan Oshea untuk tidak terlalu keluar menyerang untuk mengantisipasi kecepatan Richardson di lini sayap Sunderland. Dengan kemungkinan Rooney yang masih cidera, mungkin duet chicarito berba bisa dipasang sebagai Starter. Kombinasi keduanya terbukti ampuh saat dipasang di babak ke-2 laga comunity shield, tapi sayang semenjak laga itu chicarito belum kembali bisa mencetak gol(apa karena kutukan NO.14 yaaak )

In-form Sunderland striker Darren Bent has warned Manchester United not to expect an easy day out at the Stadium of Light this weekend.

United head for Wearside on Saturday trailing reigning Premier League champions Chelsea by three points after just six games.

Carlo Ancelotti's men lost 1-0 at Manchester City last weekend 24 hours before United were held 2-2 at Bolton.

There were also four goals in Sunderland's game at Liverpool, although it is a measure of the Black Cats' blossoming confidence that they returned from Anfield disappointed not to be doing so with all three points after referee Stuart Attwell's decision to allow Dirk Kuyt's controversial opener.

The draw on Merseyside came a week after Bent's late equaliser secured a point against Arsenal and five after his last-gasp penalty sent City home from Wearside empty-handed to emphasise Sunderland's growing success rate against the bigger clubs.

Bent told SAFC TV: "As long as we take the great positives from what we did against Liverpool into the Manchester United game, I am sure we will be okay because at home against the big boys, we have been playing so, so well.

"Everyone seems to lift their game and the crowd lifts us and we seem to get the results we want to get, so if we can continue with the performance from Liverpool and take it into the United game, then it should be a good, good game.

"I can't remember the last time we lost to a so-called big team at home."

The answer to Bent's poser is that United were the last member of the Premier League's aristocracy to win at the Stadium of Light when Nani's 28th-minute strike secured a narrow 1-0 victory on May 2 this year, although it has been something of a rare occurrence during Steve Bruce's reign as manager.

Chelsea's 3-1 success on Wearside in August last year was followed by 1-0 wins over both Liverpool and Arsenal, while Tottenham, who finished fourth last season, lost 3-1 in April.

Bent is fully aware of the talent at United boss Sir Alex Ferguson's disposal even without the injured and out of form Wayne Rooney.

However, he is confident that Sunderland will more than give them a game if they perform as they have done to date on their own pitch this season.

He said: "United have got some top, top players - they have got Rooney, [Dimitar] Berbatov, who has been on fire this year, [Paul] Scholes, [Ryan] Giggs, Nani...the names are endless with the talent they have in their team.

"But at the same time, on Saturday they have got to come and play on the same pitch we have got to play on.

"The main thing is that we set our stall out and make it hard for them to beat us, and then we go from there and make sure we play our game and cause them a few problems."

England international Bent goes into the game with eight goals to his name for the new campaign, seven of them for Sunderland and five of those in the league, a return which leaves him just one behind Berbatov and Chelsea's Florent Malouda and level with Didier Drogba.

Meanwhile, Bruce has confirmed that keeper Simon Mignolet will keep his place this weekend despite Craig Gordon's return to fitness.

Black Cats manager may call-up fringe players to senior squad

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is facing a defensive headache ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash against Manchester United.

The manager is likely to be without injured trio Anton Ferdinand, John Mensah and Kieran Richardson for the game at the Stadium of Light.

The Black Cats have picked up five of their seven points so far against sides classed as UEFA Champions League hopefuls, having beaten Manchester City and drawn against Arsenal and Liverpool.

Bruce will be aiming to continue his side's excellent run and will not rule out the possibility of one or more fringe players breaking into the squad ahead of the game.

Speaking to the club's official website, Bruce said: "It's a bit early to say; we'll have to look on Friday and see where we are.

"I would think that Mensah, Richardson and Ferdinand are all doubtful. The game may come a bit too quickly for them."

Bruce will also be missing the impressive Danny Welbeck, who is ineligible to play against his parent club.

"Danny will be a miss. He's played well and given us something we need on the left-hand side," he said.

"I've been very, very pleased with him of late."

Progress

The Black Cats boss has been pleased with the progress made by Fraizer Campbell.

The striker is facing at least six months out of action after undergoing an operation to repair the cruciate ligament damage he sustained against Manchester City last month.

Campbell is starting out on the road to recovery and Bruce said: "He's had his operation and he's over the worst.

"The op's been done and now he has to get his head around six months of rehab, which is never easy.

"Knowing the type of kid Fraizer is, he will give it his best shot."

The Sunderland boss also revealed that David Meyler, who also suffered a knee injury, could be back in training in around a month or so.
