Re: Green And Gold Till The Club Is Sold..!
MUST Terus Tekan Glazers
Re: Green And Gold Till The Club Is Sold..!
GLAZERS ARE DESPERATE.
Hari ini baca lg di republikmancunia ternyata benar. musim ini paket lengkapnya sbb: - One main course at the Red Cafe - Free entry for one adult to museum and stadium tour - Two free beers on a match day - One free pie on a match day - One free Yearbook gua setuju dng yg ditulis jg oleh Scott bahwa Glazers sudah putus asa dan mengambil langkah promosi gila ini. free pie??? what the *****... Sekali lg bukti usaha Glazer utk menaikkan jumlah Season Ticket. TILL THE CLUB IS SOLD!!!!! |

Re: Green And Gold Till The Club Is Sold..!
Sir Alex Ferguson issues warning to United fans over Glazer protest
Sir Alex Ferguson has called for unity ahead of the new season, fearing the ongoing campaign against the Glazer family could wreck Manchester United's bid for glory. Although the Red Knights' hopes of seizing control at Old Trafford are on hold after the price required to oust the controversial Glazer ownership hit £1.5billion, vociferous supporter groups are keen to step up their own campaign. Posters have been put up in Manchester ahead of Monday night's encounter with Newcastle, hoping to further undermine the club, who still have an estimated 4,000 season tickets available. That has not stopped United from being able to post 'sold-out' notices for Newcastle's visit, which confirms the goodwill that still exists for Ferguson and his men, even if the highly visible green and gold scarves will continue to be in evidence. As ever, Ferguson has defended the rights of fans to have their say. But it seems the United chief is concerned the ill-feeling could eventually have a negative effect on the players. "One situation clouds the new season and that is the continued opposition to the Glazer family," Ferguson told United Review. "I have no problem with the green and gold campaign. Fans are entitled to protest as they see fit. But not to the detriment of the team. "The fact is that the Glazer family own Manchester United and until such time as they decide they want to sell, they will stay as owners regardless of the opposition. "So it comes down to the extent of the protest. What I don't want to see is Manchester United mired in so much controversy that it deflects our purpose of winning matches. "Whenever we have had success it has been a collective effort with everyone united - management, players and fans. How many times have I commented in the past about the need to pull together? "There is no doubt that players respond and relish support. We have had some great European nights at Old Trafford and I wouldn't like to see anything develop that would diminish that kind of backing. "I see that one of the protest groups has come up with a slogan along the lines of "New Season, Same Goal". "I know what they have in mind but I just wish they meant that once again we will all be united, busting a gut to win something big; in that sense it is not a bad slogan." Whether Ferguson's words have any effect is open to doubt. He will certainly hope United's supporters are able to roar their team to victory against Newcastle, when skipper Gary Neville is likely to be on the bench at best. Yet Neville is certain he made the right decision not to go on United's pre-season tour after not quite recovering from a groin injury in time. By staying in England to use the extensive facilities at United's Carrington training complex, Neville was able to speed up his quest for fitness and he finally made his comeback with a 60-minute outing against a Chelsea reserve side last Sunday, just hours before the Community Shield. That lack of match practice means Ferguson will almost certainly look elsewhere as he sits down to name his starting line-up to face the newly-promoted Magpies. But Neville is ready to play a part, and is adamant he got the decision not to head off on tour correct. "Not going on tour helped me," he told MUTV. "I was probably fit four or five days before the end of the tour but with all the travelling and the fact you don't have the constant facilities you need when you are travelling, it was definitely better for me to stay here. "I am still catching up on fitness a little bit. I have trained for a couple of weeks now and played 60 minutes for the reserves on Sunday down at Chelsea so I feel pretty good. "But you are always going to be behind the lads who have had four or five matches." Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/ |

Re: Green And Gold Till The Club Is Sold..!
The Green & Gold campaign isn't a protest anymore, it's a fashion statement Curhat seorang Die Hard United di blognya..
------------------------------------------- from blog We Dream in Red Green & Gold: Some fans just don't get it One thing became abundantly clear as I watched Manchester United open their league campaign against Newcastle on Monday; the green & gold scarfs have nothing to do with the Glazers anymore. Instead of being a symbol of strength and solidarity, and of a rallying cry to the Glazers that the fans do indeed want them gone, it has become a fashion statement. Last season it was about raising awareness, which it did brilliantly. There was press coverage and it worried the Glazers enough to start bribing season ticket holders with free goodies – you now get meals at the Red Cafe, free entry to the club museum as well as free beer and pies on matchdays. This season we needed those fans who so enthusiastically draped themselves in scarfs and hung banners to vote with their feet. I’ve given up my season-ticket, I’ve stopped buying merchandise and I’ve even cancelled my Sky Sports subscription. Although I’ll admit I’m still watching the games on TV, albeit elsewhere, I’ve still done my very best to hit the Glazers where it hurts the most; their pocket. You can imagine my dismay then, that while I was rather arkwardly ‘tellyclapping’ my team down the tunnel on Monday night instead of sitting in my favourite spot in the entire universe, I spotted a United fan in the crowd proudly waving his green & gold scarf, whilst wearing the new AON shirt. It angered me to the point where I turned the air blue. I simply just don’t understand the logic behind it. You urgently want the Glazers out. I’ll assume you’ve done your homework efficiently enough to know that MUST (Man Utd Supporters’ Trust) and the Red Knights consortium have called for fans to stop buying merchandise and not to renew their season tickets to bring the value of the club down, which in turn will open the Glazers up to offers. So you’ve gone out and bought a scarf to show your support for the campaign and raise a few quid for the cause as well. But then you go and ruin it all by giving the Glazers some more money in the form of shirt sales and ticket sales. Add to that your match program, your half-time hotdog and pint and you’ve given them the best part of £100. ‘Every Little Helps’ isn’t just a catchy tagline for a supermarket, it’s the truth. For every person that gives up their shirt, it’s £40. For every person that decides against going to Old Trafford, it’s about £40. For every person who refuses to buy refreshments inside the ground, it’s about £6. If only 10,000 people who visited Old Trafford on Monday – and it’s only 1/7th of the crowd – refused to spend a penny more, you’re looking at nearly £1m. Imagine the power if millions of fans stopped buying new-shirts, even just in Asia or America. It’s probably worth noting too, that while the signing of Chicharito – the first Mexican to ever play for United - has been exciting, it’s also probably earned the club millions from Mexico alone. United fans aren’t idiots. They know where their money is going, but they’re so selfish about their love for the club that they still pay out even though it might be damaging the club in the long-term. It’s comparable to a failing relationship. You know it’s not working, but because you love that other person, who make the pain worse in the long run by keeping that relationship going. Love is like that, it’s self-indulgent, as it is in all cases of unrequited love. The green & gold scarf isn’t about getting rid of the Glazers anymore, it’s about feeling part of the movement – it’s just a cool accessory to you. The fans inside the ground wearing them have no intention of helping MUST and the Red Knights strangle the club’s income to bring the Glazers’ asking price down. It’s the fans – just like me – outside the ground that have the right idea. But we’re the invisibles. We’re the ones who aren’t part of the green & gold movement, because we actually listened and understood the logic behind it, and did the talking with our feet. I know it's the hard-line approach but it's truly necessary to get rid of this disease wasting away at our club's long-term health. If I spot you in the ground wearing your scarf, then you’re against everything the scarf stands for. I know it will hurt for a lot of you. I know that it may well be putting a stop to part of your weekly routine that you’ve kept going for years. I know that Old Trafford holds many dear memories for you and you love them so much, but if you loved them, you’d let them go. Sumber

Re: Green And Gold Till The Club Is Sold..!
Keluarga GLazer Semakin tertekan oleh bunga pinjaman pembelian Manchester UNITED
Friday, 20th August 2010 SPORT FINANCE STEVE DINNEEN Manchester United’s American owners saw interest payments on a loan taken out to refinance the club jump to 16.25 per cent this week after they failed to keep debt at an agreed level. The two per cent hike will see the club pay millions extra on a payment-in-kind (Pik) loan of more than £200m, which is due to be repaid by 2017. The PIK loan will total more than £267m at the end of June next year due to the new rate of interest, rising to more than £310m by 2012. The interest payments must be made by the Glazer family rather than the club itself, but fans’ groups now fear the club’s already precarious finances will be further affected. Manchester United Supporters’ Club (Must) chief Duncan Drasdo said: “The rise in the Pik interest rate this week, caused by the Glazers’ inability to hit their own targets, is another sad chapter in the story of their exploitation of Manchester United. “The increasing cost of the Piks will inevitably be borne by Manchester United. The Glazer family have failed to repay a single penny of their debts in the last four years... and the only source of cash is our football club.” The Glazers tied around £716m of debt to the Premier League outfit when they bought it in 2007. A group of powerful City figures, led by Goldman’s chief economist Jim O’Neill, launched a bid to wrest control of the club but the Glazers have been unwilling to do a deal Setelah membaca artikel ini saya baru menyadari betapa besar potensi "kerusakan" yang mungkin terjadi akibat aktivitas keluarga Glazer. Dengan tingkat interest sebesar itu, tekanan dari fans, dan ditambah lagi perumusan kebijakan organisasi yg terkesan "HIGH RISK" penjualan aset2 UNITED tampaknya tinggal menunggu waktu,,,ternyata ini bukan lagi hanya melulu masalah Pembelian Pemain,,, Green and Gold Until the club is Sold |

Re: Green And Gold Till The Club Is Sold..!
Setelah sekian lama gue tunggu2 dan mudah2an teman2 yg lain juga.
Akhirnya kemarin 8 Okt 2010 club mengeluarkan laporan rugi-laba per-Juni 2010. Singkat cerita United mengalami record loss sebesar 83,6 juta Pounds ( tentunya setelah dipotong hutang) utk tahun buku yg berakhir 30 Juni 2010. Akan gue coba uraikan agar lebih mudah dibaca ( kalo salah ya maap, auditor yg ini dulunya ga suka sekolah...bolos mulu buat maen basket ) (All numbers are in Poundsterling) Club's Turnover: 286,4 millions Operating Profit: 100,8 millions Uang yg masuk (account receivable) sebesar 286,4 juta Pounds.

(GL) |
