(lapangan yg dikelilingi pagar kawat, yg jadi shooting di DVD PLAY LIKE CHAMPIONS season 2004 - 2005)

kira kira gini gambar rumputnya..

Ayo tunjukkan sepakbola Asia layak diperhitungkan

Juara Liga Champions Asia Tak Sabar Hadapi Barcelona

(afp/end)

Default Banned Iranian Players Could Get 74 Lashes

Butt grab celebrations could get banned Iranian players 74 lashes

Mohammed Nosrati and Sheis Rezaei of Iranian league club Persepolis have already been banned indefinitely from entering any stadium in the country after celebrating goals in their side's nationally televised win over Damash Gilan last weekend by grabbing their teammate's backsides. They were also fined about $40,000 each. It was a harsh penalty for acts deemed "immoral" under the country's strict regulations, but it could end up being the easiest part of their punishment.

According to Iran's "semiofficial" Fars News Agency, the two players now face the very real possibility of imprisonment and 74 lashes on the pitch from which they've been banned.

From The Washington Post:

A judiciary official told Fars that Nosrati and Rezaei could also face public lashings, to be carried out on the soccer pitch where the behavior occurred.

According to the norms of ultra-conservative Iran, the players' "action can be considered a violation of public chastity," Judge Valiollah Hosseini told the news agency. "The punishment of this crime is prison up to two months and 74 lashes."

"It is even worse to do these actions before the eyes of thousands of spectators and TV cameras," Hosseini added.

The two footballers do have their defenders, though they are far less powerful than those with the ability to punish them.

"Come and execute them if it relieves you," [former Persepolis coach Ali Parvin] said sarcastically.

If they're willing to publicly lash these guys for a bit of goosing, that probably isn't a suggestion you want to make (even sarcastically), Ali.

Former national team player Mehdi Mahdavikia said Iranian media were making a big deal out of the incident.

"When I was playing in Germany, such things happened all the time," he said.

And the only lashes the Germans give after such an incident are purely for the enjoyment of those involved.

Dan juara Sea Games 2011 pun tumbang ....

Ong Kim Swee: Karena SEA Games, Malaysia Terpuruk

Default Japan Praised for Intentionally Losing... to Avoid Abduction

Japanese Lawmaker Lauds Team For Losing In Order To Avoid Abduction In North Korea

When Japan went to Pyongyang to play North Korea in a World Cup qualifier a few weeks back, we told you about the constraints placed on any Japanese fan brave enough to travel behind the shroud of secrecy. No banners, no flags, no drums, no cheering; the North Koreans were not going to stand for any of it, with the tensions between the two nations at a fever pitch. Tensions are so high, in fact, that Japanese lawmakers think the Blue Samurai lost on purpose to avoid being abducted by the DPR baddies.

“I presume that, if Japan won by 2-0 or 3-0, our players themselves would have been abducted,” conservative opposition lawmaker Tetsushi Sakamoto told a lower house committee on Monday, according to Japanese media.

“The lion’s share of the credit should go to manager Zac (Zaccheroni) as he let the team lose by 1-0,” Sakamoto said.

“Judging from the way he used the players, I presume he was resolutely prepared for a draw or defeat by the narrowest of margins.”

That’s right: Sakamoto praised Japan manager Alberto Zaccheroni for directing his team in such a way that they lost by just a goal, because it appeared to Sakamoto that the Japanese team would have been abducted by North Korean officials had Japan played to their full abilities.

Because Japan totally could have thrashed those shady jerks if they wanted to.

This is the exact opposite of soccer diplomacy.

The Japanese government, perhaps because Sakamoto so sufficiently smacked North Korea down with his statements, chose not to file a protest with Pyongyang over the treatment of Japan’s players. Upon landing in North Korea, Japanese players were held up for four hours by immigration and customs officials for laughing and possessing contraband like…bananas, chewing gum, and instant noodles.

The particular parliamentary committee at which Sakamota made his remarks was addressing North Korea’s abduction of Japanese nationals through the 70s and 80s, hence the heightened tension.

Although the government won’t be filing an official protest over treatment of the Japanese team, the Japanese Football Association is pursuing action in regards to the treatment of fans and players via letters sent to the North Korean FA. I expect those letters will elicit a perfectly polite response, complete with sound reasoning as to why North Korea gave the Japanese such rude treatment.

That, or someone in the North Korean FA has some fancy new toilet paper.

Wah Tigana bakal melatih di China !

Shanghai Shenhua Tunjuk Jean Tigana Sebagai Pelatih

(espn/row)
