Ferguson Merasa Punya Kesamaan dengan Villas-Boas

MANCHESTER - Siapa sangka, ternyata Sir Alex Ferguson merasa memiliki kesamaan dengan seorang Andre Villas-Boas. Pelatih kawakan tersebut bahkan yakin pencapaian Villas-Boas akan menentukan masa depannya di Chelsea.

Pelatih United tersebut ternyata merasa mempunyai dasar pengalaman yang sama dengan Villas-Boas. Hal inilah yang membuatnya membuka tabir masa lalu yang dianggapnya banyak membantunya dalam menangani United di Premier League.

“Ada kesamaan ketika saya baru datang dari Aberdeen. Saya telah meraih sesuatu di Aberdeen. Itu membantu saya. Hal ini sama seperti Villas Boas, Dia memenangkan gelar ganda bersama Porto tahun lalu dan juga Europa League,” ujar Ferguson seperti dilansir dari TribalFootball, Sabtu (17/9/2011).

“Pencapaian itu akan membawanya berdiri tegak dalam hal mengawali masa kepelatihannya di Chelsea. Setelah itu, kesan dari para pemain akan hinggap kepadanya, dalam hal pengetahuannya soal laga dan kemampuan mengatur orang-orang, semua untuk masa depan. Dia juga memiliki awal yang bagus di Chelsea,” ulas Ferguson.

Andre Villas-Boas memang menjadi sensasi tersendiri karena berhasil membawa Porto meraih gelar Europa League, dan menjadi pelatih termuda di Eropa yang meraih gelar tersebut. Minggu ini akan menjadi ujian bagi karir kepelatihannya, karena dia akan berlaga melawan salah satu tim terbaik di dunia, yakni Manchester United yang juga dilatih salah satu pelatih terhebat di muka bumi, Sir Alex Ferguson.
