Re: [EPL] Manchester United 2-0 Everton
agak heran RvP dpt poin yg lumayan gede.. menurut pendapatku semalam RvP gk bagus2 amat mainnya... kontrol bola ama passing-nya sering kacau.
Rooney hrs "berkorban lg" sbg "tumbal" strategi SAF u/ mematikan Everton khususon Fellaini. Dg ditugasinya Jones u/ menempel mesra Fellaini kemanapun dia berada meninggalkan lubang ditengah yg semalam bisa ditutup dg baik oleh Giggs meskipun harus mengorbankan Rooney u/ menutup lubang yg ditinggalkan oleh Giggs u/ face to face dg Phil. Phil akhirnya tdk dpt berkutik. Lbh efektif ketika Fellaini ditarik ketengah. Rafael bermain excellent... De Gea dg save yg indah, tp msh menyisakan PR yg sama... keluar sarang hny u/ meninju... beda sama Howard yg sering dapat bola dg tangkapan.. dan De Gea melakukan block.. bolanya msh sering mantul kembali kedepan, hrs belajar byk ke VDS kalo mslh ini. Jd berpikir... mungkin #7 Valencia sengaja ditampilkan penuh sampe' kelelahan meskipun gk bermain cukup bagus semalam jadi ada alasan buat SAF u/ tdk memainkannya ketika lawan Madrid.. mungkin Opa malu ktk #7 skr harus ketemu dg #7 yg asli yg skr ada di Madrid |

Klo Rooney aku agak nggak paham taktik Fergie. Jangan2 dia ditaruh di kiri buat ngelapis Evra khususnya pas akhir2 babak II yang beberapakali ketembus serangan everton. Tentang DDG, kelemahan utama ninju emang klo nggak pas malah bikin peluang lawan seperti pas bola muntahannya langsung di tendang Osman. Untung aja nggak masuk. Timing dan power tinjunya musti ditingkatkan. Klo Vale sih wajar maen full. Meski buat mbantu serangan sih blom bagus tapi sebagai "defender" dia salah satu yang terbaik. Kombinasinya ma Rafael bikin sisi kiri Everton nggak leluasa nyerang. |

Assist, gol dan ditambah couple brilliant touches yang selalu membahayakan lini belakang Everton tentu jadi penilaian tersendiri Valencia bakal main lawan Madrid, power dan speed nya sangat dibutuhkan oleh Rafael sebagai back up untuk meredam CR, match tadi malam bakal jadi acuan buat SAF dimana link up valencia dengan Rafael yang sukses mematikan lini sayap kiri Everton Pieenar - Baines yang juga merupakan salah satu sumber kekuatan Everton..

Re: [EPL] Manchester United 2-0 Everton
Manchester United Exorcise Everton Demons, Close In on Title with Another Win
If you figured Fergie might play this one safe, you haven't been paying attention the last quarter of a century. And if you think the title is heading anywhere other than Old Trafford this spring, your name is Roberto Mancini. Manchester United moved 12 points clear at the top of the English Premier League table on Sunday after a convincing 2-0 victory over Everton at Old Trafford. Mancini's Manchester City had lost stunningly the day before, falling 3-1 in an error-strewn shocker at Southampton, and United took full advantage. Sir Alex Ferguson opted for an aggressive lineup, including both Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie in his starting XI. The decision delivered the desired effect within the first 45 minutes as United romped to a 2-0 first-half lead through Ryan Giggs and van Persie. The second half produced pockets of excitement, but if anything United looked the more likely to score the game's third goal. It was, in short, the sort of performance expected of champions, and if any other team hoists the Premier League trophy come May, there's a decent chance the apocalypse also will have happened. Quote:
Van Persie took his turn in first-half stoppage time, setting himself up for a one-on-one with Howard with some typically clever movement behind Everton's defense. With a league-best 19th goal beckoning, van Persie worked his way around the sprawling American keeper and tucked an expert finish across the line past the covering John Heitinga. At that, the match—and perhaps the title race—was all but over. With Everton beaten, the gap now stands at a dozen imposing points. The symbolism shouldn't be discounted. Last April, United and Everton drew 4-4 at Old Trafford in a match that eventually proved a turning point in United's failed title challenge. In that campaign, the Red Devils blew an eight-point lead over the season's final month, but a similar capitulation seems almost unthinkable this time, if not mathematically impossible. Ferguson, who has brought unparalleled success to United in his 26 years on the job, remains haunted by last year's title run-in, and especially the Everton match (via The Guardian). One can almost feel his grim, intense determination when he says it won't happen this time. "What I can say is that it won't happen again—or if it does, then put it this way, they will feel the full effect of the hairdryer," Ferguson said. Hairdryer treatment aside, this sort of thing just isn't done (well, OK, maybe sometimes). Twelve-point leads don't tend to evaporate in the Premier League, unless, of course, it's United wielding the eraser. Through 26 league matches, Manchester United have won an astonishing 21 times and built a daunting 12-point cushion on the rest of Premier League. None of it should come as any surprise. A wounded Ferguson and a motivated Manchester United have been an unrivaled force over the past quarter century in England. The countdown is on for title No. 20. Code:

Re: [EPL] Manchester United 2-0 Everton
Man Utd 2-0 Everton: Is It Fair to Call the Toffees a One-Dimensional Side?
Manchester United made light work of Everton on Sunday afternoon, easing past their bogey side 2-0 at Old Trafford courtesy of goals from Ryan Giggs and Robin van Persie. Pundits and fans alike settled down to watch the contest in the hope of a repeat of last year's thriller, in which the Toffees pushed United all the way and eventually drew 4-4. Cause for optimism was at its highest after recalling Everton's famous 1-0 victory over the Red Devils on the opening day of the season—the game in which Marouane Fellaini proved he is an elite talent. Fellaini suited up at Old Trafford, but was promptly locked away. Sir Alex Ferguson deployed Phil Jones in a man-marking role on the Belgian in an attempt to stifle his effect on the game. For over half a season Everton have come to rely on their gargantuan midfielder to dominate individual battles, pull in the long balls and cause havoc in the box. Aston Villa, Fulham, Manchester City, Arsenal, Swansea and others have fallen prey to him, but Fergie never makes the same mistake twice. In the aforementioned reverse fixture, in which Fellaini battered Michael Carrick up and down the field in a complete mismatch, injuries prevented the Scot from gameplanning appropriately. But this time he had the personnel. He dug out the very finest Pritt Stick and glued Jones to Fellaini's heels, instructing him to obstruct, spoil and damage his game in any way possible. Fergie didn't manage to cut the supply line to Fellaini, but it's the restriction on his creativity levels that vindicated the idea. No shots on target, no key passes, no chances created and no successful dribbles. On the other hand, for Jones to complete five interceptions and two tackles before being subbed in the 56th minute is excellent. His replacement, Carrick, took up the reins and managed one interception himself. Without Fellaini controlling proceedings, the Toffees looked a little bit lost. As much as Leighton Baines, Steven Pienaar and Darron Gibson have been superb this season, it's clear who this side really rely on. But is it fair to brand them one-dimensional? The mutterings surfaced very quickly after many spied what Fergie had done to control the Belgian, and Antonio Valencia's equally good job on Baines stopped him from putting in his usual 8-of-10 performance. Despite recent results, Old Trafford is an awful place to go, and it's not usually the arena in which you gauge a team's strength unless they're challenging for the English Premier League title. The Toffees didn't play well and United could have won 4-0, but they at least made one or two openings and again rued Johnny Heitinga's woeful defending for putting them in a hole early on. But that prominent statistic stating Everton have only last three of their last X amount of games becomes four, and these rare losses occur when Fellaini isn't on song. Is this a road bump on the way to the Toffee's slow rise that's easily solvable or indicative of what David Moyes' side would resemble should their Belgian be pried from them in the summer? Code:
