Tottenham's Honduras international Wilson Palacios reveals good news about leg injury
-dailymail.co.uk- Tottenham's Honduran midfielder Wilson Palacios looks set to feature in the upcoming World Cup after revealing his injury scare was not as bad as first feared. Palacios picked up the injury in a 3-0 friendly loss to Romania on Saturday and was forced off the field in Austria on a stretcher. He told Honduran televison on Sunday that the injury only appeared to be a pulled muscle in his left leg, and added: 'Thank God, everything is OK.' Agony: Wilson Palacios was carried off on a stretcher and taken to hospital with his World cup dream in doubt Team-mate David Suazo, who sustained a knock to his right leg, also had good news. He told newspaper La Prensa: 'I already feel better.' Honduras are winless in five straight friendlies and have not won since a January defeat of the United States. The debutants arrive in Johannesburg on Wednesday and begin their Group H campaign against Chile on June 16. They also face Spain and Switzerland. |

Laga Ujicoba
Susunan pemain Spanyol: Casillas, Capdevila, Puyol (Marchena 70'), Pique, Arbeloa (Ramos 54'), Xavi (Fabregas 55'), Busquets, Alonso, Iniesta (Pedro 40'), Villa (Torres 65'), Silva (Navas 55') Polandia: Kuszczak, Dudka (Sadlok 45'), Wojtkowiak, Zewlakow, Mierzejewski (Matuschyk 45'), Blaszczykowski, Glik (Matuschyk 45'), Murawski, Robak, Peszko (Obraniak 78'), R Lewandowski (Sobiech 76') |

Re: Group H (Spanyol, Swiss, Honduras, Chile)
WORLD CUP 2010: Group H guide - Chile, Honduras, Spain and Switzerland
-dailymail.co.uk- CHILE Manager : Marcelo Bielsa – nicknamed the ‘Madman’ and for good reason. Players are either inspired or scared of their imposing boss. Captain : Claudio Bravo will know all about group favourites Spain as he’s Real Sociedad’s goalkeeper – and a very fine one at that. Old boy : The 31-year-old defender Pablo Contreras plies his trade in Greece with PAOK. A versatile player happy either in the middle or at the right of defence. Young gun : Alexis Sanchez is a genuine talent and one of the stars to watch out for this summer. Still only 21, he can play in any attacking position. We've made it: Chile's Gary Medel (top) jumps on goalkeeper Claudio Bravo to celebrate qualifying for the finals What to expect : A talented group who will be buoyed by the group they’re in - and are certainly capable of progressing to the knockout stages. World ranking : 18. Best World Cup performance : Third place (1962). Prediction : Group stage. HONDURAS Manager : Columbian Reinaldo Rueda leads the country into only their second finals. He played very little professional football and secured the top job after starting out coaching with the youth system. Captain : Amado Guevara is the record Honduran cap winner. A fiery holding midfielder who once received a six-month ban for pushing a referee in 2006. Old boy : The Honduran’s leading goalscorer and, at 36, one of the oldest players at the finals - Carlos Pavon is understandably a hero to his countrymen. Young gun : A maturing midfielder, Roger Espinoza (23) made his international debut last year and will be pushing for a regular starting place in South Africa. Record caps haul: But Honduras star Amado Guevara (right) once got a six-month ban for pushing a ref over What to expect : Chasing their first win at the World Cup and have enough talent to cause an upset – but making it out of the group will be tough. Have you seen their odds? World ranking : 38. Best World Cup performance : Group stage, (1982). Prediction : Group stage. SPAIN Manager : Vicente Del Bosque won it all during his time with Real Madrid. A calm and highly respected figure who knows how to handle big time players. Captain : Iker Casillas – arguably the finest keeper of his generation, nicknamed Saint Iker by the Real Madrid fans and sure to be a key player again this summer for the European champions. Old boy : Joan Capdevila (32) has been an ever-present in Spain’s qualification and will consider the left-back position his own this summer. Young gun : Sergio Busquets (21) is still making his way in a Barcelona side packed with midfield talent but is pushing for a starting place after making his international debut last year. We can win this: Spain' duo Carlos Marchena (left) and Joan Capdevila talk up their chances What to expect : They’re favourites – and with good reason. Outstanding players all over the pitch and a joy to watch. World ranking : 2. Best World Cup performance : Semi final (1950). Prediction : Final. SWITZERLAND Manager : Ottmar Hitzfeld is one of just three managers to have won the Champions League with two different clubs. A disciplinarian who likes his teams to play at a high-tempo. Captain : The country’s top scorer and leader Alexander Frei, 31, scored vital goals as they topped their qualifying group by a point from Greece. Old boy : Blaise Nkufo (35) is a powerful striker who harasses and powers his way through defences. Arrives on a high after winning the Dutch league with FC Twente. Young gun : A wildcard of sorts, Xherdan Shaqiri (18) has only one cap going in the finals. A tricky and pacy if not imposing presence on the wing. On fire: Switzerland striker Blaise Nkufo's goals will be vital for his side What to expect : Quarter finalists 56 years ago but unlikely to match that this time round. Progressing from the group will be an achievement. World ranking : 24. Best World Cup performance : Quarter-finals (1934, 1938 and 1954) Prediction : Second round. |

Re: Group H (Spanyol, Swiss, Honduras, Chile)

'Spanyol Ingin Buat Piala Dunia Terbaik'
