Tiago Manuel Dias Correia (Bébé)

Tiago Manuel Dias Correia (born 12 July 1990), better known by his nickname Bébé, is a Portugese footballer who plays as a striker for Vitória de Guimarães, although he is set to sign for English club Manchester United, subject to a medical.

He performed at the Homeless World Cup in his youth.

Club career
Early career

After initially playing for Estrela da Amadora in the Portugese Third Division Bébé was signed by Vitória de Guimarães in the summer of 2010. Many of his fans don't consider him a striker but rather an attacking midfielder.

Manchester United

On 11 August 2010, only five weeks after he signed for Vitória de Guimarães, Manchester United agreed an undisclosed fee with the Portuguese club for the transfer of Bébé. The fee was reported to be around £7.4 million, believed to be the value of the buy-out clause in the striker's contract. It was also reported that Real Madrid were interested in the striker.

Bébé was recommended to Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson by Portugal national team coach Carlos Queiroz, Ferguson's former assistant. Ferguson only met the striker the day before the transfer.
International career

Despite not representing Portugal at full international level, Bébé has represented Portugal at the Homeless World Cup.

Personal life

Bébé, as he is known, was raised in an orphanage having spent part of his childhood living on the streets.

Nah,ini nih...tau2 ngesign yang ga jelas n nggak terendus sebelumnya..berharap ga seperti diouf deh,malah di loan...sepertinya untuk striker gw bilang dah cukup,bukti adalah di loannya diouf...kenapa ga beli def-midfield or keeper ya??

Reds agree deal for striker

Manchester United is pleased to announce it has reached agreement with Portuguese club Vitoria de Guimaraes for the purchase of 20-year-old striker Tiago Manuel Dias Correia (better known as "Bebe") for an undisclosed fee, subject to a successful medical in Manchester later this week.

Personal terms have been agreed with the Cacém-born (Portugal) forward.
