Manchester City release new home kit for 2015-16 season as Manuel Pellegrini's team hope to wrestle back Premier League title

• Manchester City Women will debut new strip on July 12 in WSL clash against Birmingham City
• Wilfried Bony and Pablo Zabaleta helped unveil new 2015-16 kit with help from supporters
• New strip features a nod to the past as Manuel Pellegrini's side hope to win back Barclays Premier League title

Manchester City have looked to the past with their latest kit, after the club unveiled their new home strip for the 2015-16 season.

In what is the third home kit made by current suppliers Nike, the club's new home shirt will feature a full plain white collar - in a design similar to one used by the Mancunian outfit between 1975 and 1981.

A white v-neck featured on the strip during their first Premier League title success in 2012, while white shorts are also a returning feature having been part of the home kit that regained the title in 2014, as the trim of navy blue is largely ditched.

The hew home kit will feature a plain white collar in a similar style seen on previous shirts from the late 1970s

As well as being inspired by classic Manchester City designs of the past, the club’s new home shirt kit blends timeless colors and detailing with Nike football performance innovation to unite the club’s past and future with distinctive and sophisticated Mancunian style.

According to Nike, the shirt is in the club’s iconic sky blue with a contemporary, slim white polo neck collar finished with concealed buttons beneath the placket. This detail is a strong visual reference to Manchester’s take on casual wear — structured yet laidback, and heavily influenced by the aesthetics synonymous with the city’s legendary music and fashion scenes.

A selection of City fans were also chosen to get an early glimpse of the new strip which was unveiled by striker Wilfried Bony and defender Pablo Zabaleta.

As well as a white collar, white shorts also return to the home kit, having last featured in the Premier League title winning year of 2013-14

Each piece of the kit – the shirt, shorts and socks – is constructed with recycled polyester, which is made from recycled plastic bottles that are melted down to produce fine yarn used to create the fabric. Each kit is made using an average of 18 recycled plastic bottles.

Manuel Pellegrini's team will hope the new design will help spur them on to regaining the Premier League title back off Chelsea, while improving in Europe to at least hit the latter stages of the Champions League next term.

City open up their Premier League campaign with a trip to West Bromwich in August, but it will be the Women team who will debut the strip as they will wear the new home kit in their FA WSL fixture against Birmingham City on July 12.

Bukan, kalau template itu namanya Nike Flash 2014/15
saya biasa sebut dengan template "Power Rangers" karena warna warni..
klub terakhir yang akan pakai template ini adalah Santos
Jersey away 3rd Santos menggunakan template ini hanya berwarna hitam polos..

klo yg dipakai City ini adalah template anyar yg juga dipakai oleh PSG, AS Roma, dll hanya letak modifikasinya berada di Kerah.. sama seperti away putih AS Roma yang motif kerahnya modifikasi seperti United away 12/13 "Koko" putih..
