Boss believes United are in safe hands heading forward

Worryingly for Manchester United's Premier League rivals, Sir Alex Ferguson claims another generation of stars is on its way.

A 2-1 victory over Chelsea on Sunday has left United needing just a point to wrap up a 19th top flight crown, edging them above arch-rivals Liverpool in that particular honours list.

There appears to be no stopping the Old Trafford juggernaut, with the Red Devils having dominated English football since the inception of the Premier League in 1992.

Continuous rotation of their playing staff has been the key to their success, with young talent drafted in to help cover the loss of ageing legs.

That remains the United blueprint heading forward, with the club taking great pride in their successful academy structure.

Add the talent currently working its way through the ranks to the likes of Nani, Anderson, Chris Smalling and Javier Hernandez and it is easy to see why Ferguson believes the future is in safe hands at the Theatre of Dreams.

"Over the last decade, we've worked upon bringing young talent into the club, like, Wayne Rooney, Chicharito, Anderson and Nani, and we've brought all these players," said the legendary United boss.

"But that doesn't dismiss the fact that we like to produce our own young players and I think there are several players in the present youth team who are doing really well.

"The likes of Ryan Tunnicliffe and Ravel Morrison, you see some of them doing very, very well, so we're always going to put an emphasis on young players coming through from the youth team. That will always be the case.

"We've got some excellent young players of good ages, you know. Like, for instance, Chicharito, who is 22, Jonny Evans and Darron Gibson, who are 23, and Chris Smalling who's 21.

"So, yeah, we've got a good nucleus of young players in the club which gives you the foundation to be able to protect the future and know it's going to be alright."

saya pernah baca disatu media, tpi sudah lupa dimana :p
Katanya SAF akan meninggalkan United dengan squad terkuat yang pernah ada.jadi bila masih meragukan dia belum akan pensiun. Yah, saya juga ragu apa itu opini atau pernyataan SAF sendiri.yah kita doakan saja bersama2 agar United tetap membanggakan sampai kapan pun
