LOUIS VAN GAAL'S VERDICT ON WEST HAM DRAW
Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal spoke to MUTV after Saturday’s frustrating goalless draw against West Ham United at Old Trafford. Here’s what he said… Assessment of the game I think that we played a very good match, it's only we have to score. You must score out of the kind of chances we created. You need to score, otherwise you cannot win, and it is very frustrating, also for the players because they want to score. We have to finish better than we did today. What can you do about the lack of goals? You can train every day on shooting at the goal and you have to know that we are doing that. We put players in the position to score but you need composure and luck to score. The most important thing is that we are creating and we are dominant. Today, we were dominant and attacking, we were creating chances – only we forgot to score. Can you understand the fans’ frustration? Yes and no, because they can see that we fought until the end. There was a fantastic team spirit and we were dominant. We created many chances and you can only do that when you are attacking; we attacked much more than our opponents, who were defending in their square of 40 metres. That’s always difficult but we created a lot of chances. Yes, you have to score from those chances and we didn’t do that. That is our problem in the latest matches. Rivals dropping points Of course it’s frustrating but I look first at my own team – that’s the most important thing. We have to win in Wolfsburg – we need to score also in Wolfsburg to survive in the Champions League. Sent from my iPad Air 2 using Tapatalk |

SMALLING: WE ARE JUST AS FRUSTRATED Chris Smalling says his Manchester United team-mates share the fans' frustrations after a goalless draw with West Ham United at Old Trafford on Saturday. With Wayne Rooney missing the match due to injury, Smalling stood in as skipper and was solid alongside his colleagues in keeping West Ham out. However, it was at the other end of the pitch where United endured a frustrating afternoon, missing a number of opportunities to take the three points. Smalling told MUTV: "Today was a massive frustration for us and it’s so disappointing when you dominate a game. In the second half, we created a number of opportunities but we didn’t have that luck to see the ball drop in. "The fans have the right to show their frustration and we are just as frustrated. In the changing room, everyone is down because it is an opportunity missed. We are in a good position in the league, but it could have been boosted today." Despite another stalemate – the fifth 0-0 draw in the last nine games in all competitions – Smalling feels the goals will start to come if United continue to create opportunities. "It’s not that we are not creating the chances," he said. "In the second half, we had quite a few opportunities in and around their six-yard box and we could have easily had a few goals. "The opportunity was there to be capitalised on, to go top of the league, but it wasn’t meant to be. If we keep creating chances, we are confident sooner rather than later they will go in. On another day, we would have punished them, but when you dominate like we did, we should be taking the three points." Smalling knows the players must pick themselves up with a trip to Wolfsburg next up for the Reds on Tuesday evening. "We don’t want to live with too much frustration going into training," he added. "We will recover tomorrow and, on Monday, we will go to Germany with an important goal in mind." Sent from my iPad Air 2 using Tapatalk |

Re: [EPL] Manchester United vs West Ham United
Posisi semrawut, hasil semrawut
Lumayan menarik sih karena You Know Who nggak main, tempo permainan cepat dan umpan umpan pendeknya bagus, tapi ya gitu deh... Yang lucu, kenapa Darmono malah ada di kiri di saat ada Lord Young...?? dan Paddy yang bagus main di CB malah digeser ke kanan? apakah ini sama kasusnya kayak You Know Who..?? demi mempertahankan Golden Boy jadi CB magang..?? Only God and LvG knows.

Re: [EPL] Manchester United vs West Ham United
