Jangan meremehkan CFR cluj, biasa nya team kecil bertemu team besar main nya mati2an, yang pasti sih cara bermain tempo tinggi dan ngotot akan diperlihatkan ke dua club.

ditambah Carrick gak ikut latihan hari ini ( menurut saya di istirahatkan)

Rafael Bastos pemain Brazil ini di pertandingan terakhir di liga champion kemarin membawa Cluj menang 2-0 atas braga dan patut di waspadahi.

Rooney: United Harus Waspadai Underdog

Bola.net - Wayne Rooney memperingatkan Manchester United untuk mewaspadai ancaman yang mampu dihadirkan tim-tim underdog. Peringatan Rooney ini disampaikan menjelang laga United melawan tim Rumania, CFR Cluj.

United mendapatkan bekal yang buruk sebelum bertanding di level Eropa. Setan Merah baru saja tunduk di kandang sendiri oleh Tottenham Hotspur pada ajang Premier League.

Karena itu, Rooney meminta rekan-rekannya untuk tak meremehkan siapa pun lawan yang akan mereka hadapi. Contoh paling nyata adalah ketika United gagal lolos fase grup Liga Champions karena terkesan meremehkan lawan-lawannya.

"Liga Champions adalah kompetisi yang ketat. Jika tidak bermain dengan maksimal, maka anda akan langsung dihukum. Itu terjadi pada kami musim lalu. Kami harus memastikan bahwa kesalahan itu tak akan terulang musim ini," ucap Rooney.

Pada pertandingan perdana lalu, United mengalahkan wakil Turki Galatasaray dengan skor 1-0. Kemenangan itu diraih dengan susah payah di kandang sendiri, Old Trafford. (fifa/hsw)

Reds squad flies to Romania



United are taking a 21-man squad to Romania for the Champions League encounter with CFR Cluj.

The Reds are looking to build on the opening Group H victory against Galatasaray but experienced midfielders Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs and Michael Carrick have not travelled.

Antonio Valencia, who injured his ankle in the win at Liverpool, is not ready to return and fellow winger Ashley Young remains sidelined, along with the likes of Nemanja Vidic, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones.

Jonny Evans is available, despite picking up a knock late on against Tottenham, but Michael Keane and Scott Wootton provide cover at the heart of the defence. Youngsters Jesse Lingard, Nick Powell and Ryan Tunnicliffe join Darren Fletcher amongst the midfield options while Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie could combine in attack again after showing promising signs in the second half on Saturday.

Sir Alex wary of Cluj



Sir Alex Ferguson is hoping for improvements at the back as Manchester United take on a Cluj side that's already notched two away goals in Champions League Group H.

The Romanians produced a surprise on Matchday One by beating Braga 2-0 in Portugal and given they're back on their home turf, they could present a problem or two for a Reds defence which uncharacteristically conceded two first-half goals on Saturday.

"I hope the first half on Saturday was [an issue of] awareness," said Sir Alex, referring to Rio Ferdinand and Jonny Evans playing together for only the second time this season.

"When Jonny and Rio played consistently every week last season [from December when Nemanja Vidic was injured], we got better."

Fitness wise, the main area of concern for Sir Alex isn't defence for a change, it's midfield. The manager's three most experienced men in that department - Michael Carrick, Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes - were unable to travel to Romania for various reasons.

"Carrick is in bed with a virus," reported Sir Alex. "Giggs has a bit of a virus and felt rough so he was sent home. Scholes is at home because he wasn't feeling great this morning. He played so well on Saturday and at 37, I can't expect him to play again three days later."

Sir Alex revealed that United elected to train at Carrington this morning, instead of Cluj's stadium this evening, for tactical reasons. He feels the opposition will be tough enough without enabling their staff to study the Reds' prepatory work.

"We made this decision last season because most of the time when you train abroad you can't do anything [tactical] because everyone is watching," explained the boss.

"Training at Carrington this morning allowed to do things around picking the team and tactics."

Such tactics could include a strategy for coping with Cluj's counter-attack.

"That's their main strength, as they showed against Braga. They're also a team who defend quickly and get plenty of bodies behind the ball. Counter-attacking is very important in European football these days.

"Cluj knocking out Basel and their performance in the last game against Braga tell you they're a good team. We need to give them every respect."

Scholes emang bener-bener keliatan kelelahan waktu pertandingan vs thp kemaren. Dan mudah-mudahan saja Cleverley dan Anderson mampu menggantikan posisi lini tengah Manchester United hingga mampu mendapatkan poin penuh lagi.

Dengan pulihnya Rooney dari cedera memang tak dapat dipungkiri ia yang memberikan semangat baru (lagi) di Manchester United. Melihat Rooney pada saat bermain kemarin pastinya berharap Rooney bisa mencetak gol-gol indah dari kakinya. Semoga gak ada lagi kejadian bentur tiang gawang.
