Default Re: [EPL] Liverpool vs Manchester United

Liverpool and Manchester United fans warned they will be thrown out of Anfield if they sing about Hillsborough or Munich

* Police are aware of the potential for trouble between fans on Monday
* Both clubs released a joint statement calling for fans to behave
* Anyone signing about the Hillsborough or Munich disasters will be thrown out of the ground and face arrest

Supporters caught singing about the Hillsborough or Munich disasters will be thrown out of Anfield on Monday night.

There will be a zero-tolerance attitude towards the sort of scenes which blighted Liverpool and Manchester United’s Europa League ties last season - and an increased police presence is expected around the ground before and after the clash.

Police chiefs are mindful of the potential for trouble, particularly given the ugly scenes earlier this year when illicit chanting and fighting marred the two fixtures.

Liverpool fans have been warned not to sing about the Munich air disaster

Problems centred on noises from the crowd, with United slurs about the 1989 Hillsborough tragedy - when 96 Liverpool supporters died at the FA Cup semi-final - widely condemned after the first leg.

Liverpool’s travelling contingent at Old Trafford were also criticised after referencing the 1958 Munich air disaster, during which 23 people lost their lives.

Embarrassingly, UEFA charged Liverpool for chanting ‘Manchester is full of s***’ rather than mocking the deaths of 11 former United staff members.

Those singing heinous songs during Monday’s Premier League clash between Jurgen Klopp and Jose Mourinho’s sides will be removed immediately and face arrest.

Both clubs are desperate for the night to run smoothly and they released a joint statement appealing for calm and warning supporters about their conduct.

In the statement, both clubs said: 'There is great rivalry between our fans and we ask all supporters to be respectful and help eradicate all forms of offensive and discriminatory behaviour from the game.

United fans have been told they will be kicked out if they sing about the Hillsborough tragedy

'If any supporters are found to be engaged in any form of offensive or discriminatory behaviour by stewards or via CCTV then they will be immediately removed from the stadium, risk arrest, prosecution and be reported in accordance with the club’s ground regulations. This is an unrivalled fixture in the Premier League calendar and we thank all fans for their continued support in this important area of the game.'

An increased police presence is expected around Anfield in the hours leading up to the highly-anticipated North West derby.

Merseyside and Greater Manchester Police have worked together to manage the Category A game, aware of past incidents and the potential for trouble.

Five arrests were made in the wake of fighting which flared in the home sections of Old Trafford following the Europa League second leg.

Around a dozen Liverpool fans bought tickets in the United end, unfurling a banner which sparked an unseemly brawl.

They had also been met with a sign while travelling to Manchester that day which read ‘murderers’.

During what was a sombre week for the rivalry, Manchester United also denounced a small section of their own supporters after audible chanting of ‘The Sun was right’ at Anfield.

A statement read: ‘It has always been the position of Manchester United that chants of this nature, which refer to historical tragedies, have no place in the game and do not reflect the club’s values.

‘We are discussing with fans to seek support in preventing this behaviour in the future.’

Jangan mau dikompor2in Hamman. Klo lihat performa saat ini tidak ada alasan buat memainkan Rooney. Dia bisa main pas lawan Fenerbahce saja.

Manchester United players who should not start vs Liverpool

Manchester United face a testing fixture vs Liverpool and Wayne Rooney is among the players who are too much of a risk for Jose Mourinho.

Manchester United might not have beaten Stoke but the performance was productive, the style attacking and Jose Mourinho has settled on a formation in 4-3-3.

At Liverpool, Mourinho's team selection will be scrutinised in the hour leading up to kick-off. United have fielded the same side in their last two Premier League fixtures and the performance against Stoke might convince Mourinho to retain the same line-up.

Liverpool, though, have won both of their home games comprehensively this term, scoring nine goals. The opponents might be inferior than United, but Mourinho knows from his encounters with Jurgen Klopp's Real Madrid in 2012-13 how overwhelming his style of football can be for opposition sides.

That means certain players should not be considered to start at Anfield.

Quote:
Marcos Rojo

Luke Shaw should be available, so Rojo might not make the bench at Anfield and could well end up in the Anfield Road End again. Yet should Mourinho overlook Shaw on account of his ring-rustiness and revert to the Daley Blind-Eric Bailly axis, then Rojo could defy his detractors and be in contention for a starting spot.

Rojo was culpable for Paraguay's winner against Argentina in midweek and he has a history of shambolic performances after returning from international duty. He is a risk and a liability.

Quote:
Marouane Fellaini

Fellaini has had a satisfactory start to the season but that has not stopped some United supporters from scapegoating him. There is an argument to play him as an advanced attacking midfielder - where he bullied Liverpool at Anfield two seasons ago - but United have Paul Pogba to slot in there now.

United need energetic and mobile midfielders to counter Liverpool's intensity and Fellaini thrives with space, which Jordan Henderson and Emre Can are unlikely to afford him. Philippe Coutinho's canniness is also an issue for Mourinho to consider when he decides on who to start at the base of his midfield triangle to nullify the brilliant Brazilian. Mourinho's 'low-block' tactic stifled Liverpool in that title-wrecking win in 2014 but that Chelsea side won through a Steven Gerrard slip and an Iago Aspas corner. United are unlikely to be as reticent.

There is also Fellaini's temper to consider. Fellaini could easily have been sent off on at least three occasions playing against Liverpool for Everton and United but escaped censure on each occasion. The attention following his eruptions in the Europa League games last term could influence referee Anthony Taylor.
Quote:
Jesse Lingard

Lingard was so anonymous at Anfield in January he might as well have spent the game in the stands - where he was stood for the Europa League tie. Recently, he has complemented the attack well against Leicester and Stoke but - and this remains the problem with Lingard - he is not threatening enough on the ball.

James Milner has become a growing influence for Liverpool from left-back and by targeting him United could sharpen their own attack while blunting their opponent's. Lingard is an intuitive and instinctive footballer, albeit without the ball at his feet and United need a slicker option.
Quote:
Henrikh Mkhitaryan

United supporters are understandably desperate for Mkhitaryan to thrive but Liverpool is not the fixture to ease him into the side. His rushed return against City produced the worst full United debut since Anderson nine years earlier and it would be unfair to subject Mkhitaryan to a febrile atmosphere after his derby experience last month.

He could prove to be an influential substitute and Fenerbahce on Thursday is the ideal match to restore the Armenian to the line-up.
Quote:
Wayne Rooney

He ended his 11-year Anfield drought in January but his chastening week away with England followed a dire start to the season and there is still no justification for Rooney's return.

United have played a superior and more fluid style of football with their captain on the bench and Mourinho discovered that, by catering for Rooney, he hindered United's attack.

Now United have settled on a 4-3-3 formation, there is no place for Rooney in the side.

Defence is the best form of attack: Decoding the Liverpool Gegenpress under Jurgen Klopp
Jurgen Klopp's tactics are finally coming together at Liverpool

http://m.sportskeeda.com/football/li...st-form-attack

Dah kayak main miauw-miauwan. Masalahnya klo ala Klopp yg ngejar 2-3 orang dan yg dikejar cuma 1. Dibilang "miauw" tapi beringas banget.

Entah gimana cara ngatasinya.

Bikin panas telinga.
