Re: Manchester United Youngster - News and Rumors
City make formal approach for Manchester United winger
Hull City have once again turned to Manchester United for yet another of their promising youngsters in effort to bolster their Championship squad for the impending 2011-12 Championship season, that is all set to kick off in a little over three weeks time with a home game against Blackpool. Already, City boss Nigel Pearson has amassed a vast array of Manchester United's youthful talent and clinched the signatures of James Chester, Cameron Stewart, Joe Dudgeon and Corry Evans - all of which have arrived in the manager's first year in charge of the Tigers since taking the reins from temporary post holder Iain Dowie. Now, CI sources believe the Tigers have formally requested to take promising Irish winger Robbie Brady on loan as cover for the injured Cameron Stewart - who is expected back in October from a serious injury sustained last season - if there are no setbacks to Stewart's recovery time. Brady, a 19 year old wing protege, has just overcome a season beset with injury woes, but reserve and youth team coach at Old Trafford - Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - has done a stellar job getting the pacy youngster fit again. It is thought a loan deal for the Red Devils star is not out of the question and this could be completed before the end of the week.

Re: Manchester United Youngster - News and Rumors
United to keep Cleverley & Welbeck Sir Alex Ferguson has tipped Tom Cleverley to follow Danny Welbeck into the England squad and confirmed neither player will be leaving Manchester United on loan this season. The duo both benefited from time away from Old Trafford last term. Cleverley earned rave reviews from Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez as he helped guide the Latics to safety on the final day of last season. While Welbeck's six goals in 26 Premier League appearances for Sunderland were enough to secure a first full cap in a March draw with Ghana. Both have now linked up with the Red Devils on their pre-season tour of the United States, having been given extra time off following England's disappointing UEFA U-21 European Championship campaign. And, though neither youngster is likely to get as much first-team action next season as they did last, Ferguson feels it would be counter-productive to let them leave. "They won't go on loan again," the United manager confirmed to Press Association Sport. "Going on loan only serves one purpose; keeping them happy by playing all the time. "At their ages, it wouldn't do us any good because other clubs would be benefiting from what we could be benefiting from. Because of the experience they have had, keeping them now benefits us." Ferguson must wrestle with a striking department even he accepts is overloaded given it also includes Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez, Michael Owen, Dimitar Berbatov and Federico Macheda. Ferguson has spoken warmly of all his forwards, and Welbeck is no different. "Welbeck is an England international now," said the Scot. "He is an exceptional talent. And Cleverley will play for England too. He is an intelligent modern-day footballer. His movement and understanding of space is really good for a young player. We are happy both of them will stay with us." -fifa-

Re: Manchester United Youngster - News and Rumors
Robbie Brady joins Hull on loan from Man Utd Manchester United youth player Robert “Robbie” Brady has joined Hull City on loan for the next five months. The former St. Kevin’s Boys player signed for Alex Ferguson’s side in January 2008, and impressed for both academy and reserve sides in the last three years at Old Trafford. He scored five goals in the Milk Cup in 2009, and helped the reserve side to the title for the 2010-11 season. He was included in United’s Carling Cup matchday squad against Wolves, but was left on the bench, and is still yet to make his first team debut. Capable of playing on the wings and up front, Brady has been sent to Hull to gain some first team experience. United Reserve boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was full of praise for the forward last year, speaking about the player last October. “He came to our club two years ago and went straight into the reserves, which is unusual,” said Solsjkaer. “But then last season he had a torrid time with loads of injuries that really restricted him and his development. This year, I’ve got him through pre-season with no injuries. He’s got a very good left foot, and he’s Irish so he’s a very a good competitor. He’s enthusiastic, he’s quick and although he’s not a big lad, he’s probably my size, he wins more or less everything in the air. We’ve just got to work on his fitness and, if we can get him super fit ,then he’ll be a very, very good player.” He was a member of the Republic of Ireland U19 squad for the First Stage of Euro 2011 Qualifying, scoring twice in three games, but stayed with United for the FA Youth Cup final and missed the Elite Stage. As a result, Paul Doolin chose to stick with his tried and tested for the final squad, and Brady wasn’t named among the 18. However, if he impresses with Hull, he will no doubt be called up to the Ireland Under-21 squad for our Euro 2013 qualifying campaign. Ireland take on Hungary in our opening Group 7 game on September 1st. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Robbie Brady mencetak satu gol ketika Hull melawan Liverpool untuk kemenangan Hull City 3 - 0 tanggal 23 Juli 2011 |

Re: Manchester United Youngster - News and Rumors
ini termasuk pengaruh scholes juga kali yak (yg suka ama oldham) ??
Latics swoop for Johnstone Oldham have signed Manchester United academy goalkeeper Sam Johnstone on loan following an injury to Dale Connor. England youth international Johnstone, 18, has been brought in after Connor cracked a bone in a finger in training on Monday. Connor joins Alex Cisak (also finger) and Paul Gerrard (hernia) on the sidelines, leaving 16-year-old Luke Simpson as the only fit keeper on the books. Johnstone has been drafted in as temporary cover and was set to make his first appearance for the club against Burnley on Tuesday night before also appearing in Oldham's final warm-up game at Fleetwood on Saturday. "Sam is very highly rated by United and we are delighted he is here to help us out," boss Paul Dickov told the club's official website. -http://sport.virginmedia.com-
