Re: [CC] Man Utd vs Wolves
Gw, yg lagi bersinar terang benderang nih, Ravel Morrison , plus Bebe tentunya Berharap AMos diberikan kesempatan, Kuszcak kan udah tuh....
Lanjut deh previewnya.... Michael Owen could return from injury for Manchester United's Carling Cup fourth-round tie at home to Wolves. Owen resumed training after a groin injury last week and is set to return in a much-changed side after scoring twice in the 5-2 win at Scunthorpe in the last round. Wayne Rooney will be out until next month with his ankle injury while Ryan Giggs (hamstring) and Jonny Evans (hip) are also sidelined. United's latest goalscoring hero Javier Hernandez has put his run of goals down to the prowess of his new team-mates as he prepares for the Carling Cup tie with Wolves. The 22-year-old Mexican bagged a brace at Stoke on Sunday to give United a crucial Barclays Premier League win, and could keep his place in midweek as Sir Alex Ferguson's men continue the defence of their trophy. Hernadez said: "I'm happy and I always say that the goals are all part of the team. "It is a game about the team. We play with 11 and there are also seven waiting, it doesn't matter who scores. "The most important thing is that there are no heroes - it's all about the effort of the team and my goals are down to my team-mates. "They have trust in me, and also the staff. It's an unbelievable opportunity for me to play with the biggest team in the world, Manchester United. I'm working hard because I want to stay here a long time and win lots of trophies.'' Wolves' Stephen Hunt is in line for his first start of the season. Hunt, signed in the summer from Hull, had yet to make an appearance due to a serious foot injury but came off the bench in the 2-0 defeat by Chelsea on Saturday. Ronald Zubar (ankle) and Jody Craddock (hip) are both out while Michael Kightly has undergone an operation on his knee. Skipper Karl Henry is still suspended. Wolves manager Mick McCarthy is desperate to break his team's four-game winless streak - and sees no reason why that should not happen at Old Trafford. He said: "At this moment in time, wouldn't it be great for us to have a cup run? Everyone knows about the games we've got. We've just been beaten by Chelsea, we've got Man United in the cup, [Manchester] City in the league, United in the league then Arsenal in the league. "So wouldn't it be great to have a victory of any sorts amongst all of those? And if it's going to be in the Carling Cup, let's have it.''

Re: [CC] Man Utd vs Wolves
25/10/2010 22:55 - ManUtd.com, Mark Froggatt
Match Pack: Wolves One year and one round later, United entertain Wolves in the Carling Cup again... Form guide Halloween isn't the only thing scaring Wolves fans this month - they also have a frightening run of fixtures against Chelsea, United (twice), Manchester City and Arsenal, all in the space of 17 days. To make matters worse, Mick McCarthy’s men are without a win in four since beating Notts County on penalties in the third round of the Carling Cup in September. Meanwhile, the Reds are yet to taste defeat in any competition to date and are buoyant after a first league away win, 2-1 at Stoke City. Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez struck twice at the Britannia Stadium and will be fancied to add to his five United goals should he start. Ins and outs Stephen Hunt could be handed a start for Wolves after making his debut against Chelsea at the weekend - his entrance having been delayed by a foot injury. Wales' number one Wayne Hennessy could replace Marcus Hahnemann in goal while Nenad Milijas, an international team-mate of Nemanja Vidic, looks set to feature in midfield. As for United, Sir Alex is likely to rest players ahead of Saturday's top-five clash with Tottenham and field a similar line-up to the one that beat Scunthorpe in the previous round. Chris Smalling, Federico Macheda and Bebe could all feature, as well as Gabriel Obertan who impressed against Bursaspor in the Champions League. Options exclude the injured Ryan Giggs (hamstring) and Wayne Rooney (ankle) who are both out for several weeks. Star man Wolves' record signing Kevin Doyle netted two injury-time goals against Notts County to secure a place in the fourth round. The Republic of Ireland international also put in a good shift at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, spearheading the attack in a spirited 2-0 defeat to Chelsea. Last season Doyle scored nine goals to help Wolves avoid relegation. Manager Mick McCarthy managed Millwall, Republic of Ireland and Sunderland prior to becoming Wolves boss in July 2006. Having narrowly missed out on play-off success in his first two seasons, McCarthy led Wanderers to the Championship title in 2008/09 and with it, promotion to the Premier League. He also picked up his division's manager of the year award. Arguably his greatest triumph, however, was to keep Wolves in the top flight, finishing in 15th place and eight points above the drop zone. McCarthy courted controversy along the way - Wolves were fined £250,000 for fielding a weakened side in the league at OT (United won 3-0). Referee Lancashire-born Lee Mason has taken charge of just three United games so far, all of them victories for the Reds last season - the 1-0 win against Birmingham and the 5-0 demolitions of Wigan Athletic and Portsmouth. Rivals watch Arsenal travel to Newcastle on Wednesday night while last year’s beaten finalists Aston Villa host Burnley. As for Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City? They're out already.

Re: [CC] Man Utd vs Wolves
Former Manchester United youngster David Jones has played down his return to Old Trafford as Wolves aim to progress in the Carling Cup.
Jones came through the ranks at United before joining Derby County in 2007 in search of regular first-team football. He managed just four appearances for the Red Devils and returns to his former club on a mission to secure his current side a place in the quarter-finals. "It is always good to go back to Manchester United and the chance to play in such a great stadium is always a privilege, plus I've still got some great friends from there and some fond memories of growing up at the club, he told skysports.com. "It will be something to look forward to, but it has been four or five years now since I left there to establish my career elsewhere and the novelty has worn off now a little. "The main thing for me is to go there and help the side get as many points as we can in the league fixture and hopefully progress in the league cup as well." Mick McCarthy is expected to make changes for Tuesday's match, but Jones insists that they intend to go all the way in the competition. He added: "Obviously, the Carling Cup won't be our priority this season, but I think that the majority of sides will put their league performance ahead of the cup competitions because that is what you are judged on at the end of the year. "However, the cups are always a good place to put in good performances and use other members of the squad that haven't been as involved as they would like in the league games. "That gives them the chance to stake their case for selection and challenge the other lads for their place in the side. "Everyone wants to show the gaffer what they can bring to the table and going to Manchester United is always a great occasion in itself, which tends to make players raise their game a little. "The manager always wants us to give 100% in every game that we play and I am sure that is what he will get from us."

Squad numbers for Ravel Morrison & Robbie Brady ahead of Wolves game Posted on Tuesday, 26th October 2010 by Chudi Onwuazor | the Busby Way We spoke about him on Saturday after he was declared ‘the most talented teenager in the country’ and it appears Manchester United’s worst kept secret may finally be unveiled to the world as Ravel Morrison was handed a squad number (49) ahead of tonight’s game against Wolves. There is also a squad number for talent young Irish man Robbie Brady who was given the #37. Although no relation to Liam, being Irish with the surname ‘Brady’ instantly means there will be a huge amount of pressure on his young shoulders but from what I have seen the winger may not struggle with the comparisons. They have been given numbers but their places in the team are not assured and even if they are named in the squad they may not see time on the pitch but merely the fact they have been given numbers is a positive.
