Re: [LC] Manchester United vs West Ham United
Preview: Manchester United v West Ham (Cup)
How can I follow the game? Wednesday’s EFL Cup quarter-final kicks off at 20:00 GMT and is live on Sky Sports in the UK. MUTV subscribers can watch Match Day Live for all the pre-match build-up from 19:00 GMT and the club’s official channel will show the full match at midnight. Fans can also keep up with the action via ManUtd.com's live blog or the club's official Twitter account @ManUtd. So, it’s West Ham: Part II… Yes, four days after Manchester United were held 1-1 by West Ham United in the Premier League, the East London outfit will be back at Old Trafford to battle with the Reds for a place in the last four of the EFL Cup. The fact the teams have met so recently adds intrigue and sub-text to the game: will Sunday’s frustration motivate Jose Mourinho's men further, or will Slaven Bilic's side be buoyed by the point they gained? Have any individual players gained a psychological advantage over their direct opponents? Will it be, as Phil Jones says, "a completely different game" due to it being a knockout affair? The tie must be settled on the night – extra-time and penalties are therefore possible – so we’re set for a fascinating clash. Their keeper had a blinder on Sunday, didn’t he? Annoyingly for us, yes he did. After Zlatan Ibrahimovic had cancelled out Diafra Sakho’s early opener for the Hammers, Darren Randolph made a string of saves to deny Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Paul Pogba to preserve a point for the visitors. “We got the luck," admitted Randolph afterwards. "It was tough and like the Alamo at times, but we should take a lot of confidence going into Wednesday’s game.” Let’s hope the Irishman doesn’t produce a repeat performance. Facing the same team twice at the same ground in four days… that won’t have happened very often, will it? No, it’s certainly a rare occurrence for the Reds and it last happened in 2012, when a thrilling 3-2 victory at Chelsea in the Premier League on 28 October was followed by a remarkable 5-4 defeat at Stamford Bridge in the League Cup on 31 October. And the last time Old Trafford was visited by the same team twice in such a short period was in January 1983, when Nottingham Forest visited Old Trafford in the League Cup and, four days later, in Division One, with United winning both games. Is there any team news? We know Pogba and Marouane Fellaini are suspended after picking up their fifth bookings of the season at the weekend, so Jose Mourinho will need to decide the make-up of his midfield. The boss may opt to make several changes anyway, just as he has done in previous rounds of this competition. For the Hammers, goalscorer Sakho was withdrawn with an apparent hamstring injury in the second half on Sunday and is considered doubtful, meaning former Reds striker Ashley Fletcher - who almost snatched victory at the weekend when David De Gea blocked his shot - could get a chance to shine in attack. What have our players said? "We can turn our luck in the next game in the EFL Cup. It doesn’t matter the competition, it doesn’t matter the game, we just want to win. We want to fight for everything and we want to make our fans proud." – Ander Herrera And the Hammers? "It was a really good point for us and we have to look forward and get back here on Wednesday. I want to keep our best up and maybe we can get a draw or better, the best result for us.” – Angelo Ogbonna Quote:

Re: [LC] Manchester United vs West Ham United
Bastian Schweinsteiger will have to wait for Manchester United comeback with Michael Carrick set to start in EFL Cup clash with West Ham
* Bastian Schweinsteiger was outcast by Jose Mourinho at start of season * Germany icon returned to the squad for weekend draw with West Ham * Many thought midfielder would therefore be in line for start on Wednesday * But Michael Carrick is expected to feature for United against the Hammers Michael Carrick is expected to feature for Manchester United on Wednesday night, meaning Bastian Schweinsteiger could have to wait for his dramatic first-team comeback. The World Cup winner was a surprise inclusion on Jose Mourinho's bench for Sunday's 1-1 draw against West Ham United. Many thought Schweinsteiger would therefore be in line for a start in the EFL Cup when the same opposition rock up at Old Trafford ‒ especially given Paul Pogba and Marouane Fellaini are suspended. But Carrick is ready to face his old club if required by Mourinho after missing Sunday. Schweinsteiger, meanwhile, was told over the summer that he had no future at United ‒ a stance reiterated when the German returned to the first-team fold earlier this month. United have allowed him to talk with other clubs over a January move, with Chicago Fire leading the race. Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness has been left aghast at United's treatment of Schweinsteiger ‒ and believes the player should retire rather than jet off to the MLS. Michael Carrick is expected to play for Manchester United on Wednesday against West Ham 'If I were him, I would make the people in Manchester pay until his last day,' Hoeness said. 'That's what this club deserves for what they've done to him. They should be punished. 'From what I have heard, Basti's on his way out of football. I know him well and I doubt he's still got the fire left in him for one final major challenge. 'After such a brilliant career, a player like him shouldn't see out his career in a place like America. For me, America simply isn't an alternative for a player of his calibre.' Code:

Re: [LC] Manchester United vs West Ham United
MANCHESTER UNITED'S REPEAT OPPONENTS Facing the same opponents in consecutive matches is nothing new for Manchester United. Jose Mourinho's men have the chance to take out any frustrations from Sunday's 1-1 draw in the Premier League with West Ham United when the Londoners visit Old Trafford again in the EFL Cup quarter-finals on Wednesday. In the past, cup replays were often swiftly arranged but the fixture list is always liable to throw up league matches against the same opposition around the same time. As recently as January 2014, Swansea City played twice at Old Trafford within six days, although there was a trip to Sunderland for the Reds in between those encounters. The last time United faced the same club in consecutive outings came in October 2012, when the Reds defeated Chelsea 3-2 at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League before an entertaining 5-4 loss at the same venue in the League Cup. In early 2007, United won successive fixtures against Aston Villa, both at home, with Henrik Larsson on the scoresheet in a 2-1 FA Cup triumph over the Midlanders before a 3-1 league success the following weekend. There was a real sense of deja vu in 2004, when consecutive matches were played against Fulham before a pair of games against Arsenal, including Paul Scholes hitting the winner in the FA Cup semi-final to set up another trophy triumph. There may have been two repeat fixtures that season but three took place in 1996/97 – with Leicester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Wimbledon providing the opposition. Many fans will recall a youthful Reds line-up bravely succumbing 2-0 to high-flying Newcastle United in 1994 before winning by the same scoreline at Old Trafford in the league, with a goal from future Magpies winger Keith Gillespie sealing victory. The first instance of repeat games in the Premier League era came in style, with Oldham Athletic facing the Reds three times on the spin in the Double-winning season of 1993/94. The local rivals must have been sick of the sight of each other after a 3-2 win for the Reds at Old Trafford was followed by two FA Cup semi-final ties. Re: [LC] Manchester United vs West Ham United
Teknik tendangan finishing Martial kayak nggak ada peningkatan. Terlalu "Henry" hingga tampak lemah karena kurang power. Dari pertama gabung ya udh gitu dan kini kok tampak seolah cuma bisa gitu.

Error De Gea.
Kok dia musim ini sering error. Musim lalu save-nya banyak sekarang dikit (perbaikan di pertahanan). Tapi kenapa errornya nambah. |
