Re: [EPL] Newcastle United vs Manchester United
11/01/2016 10:50, Report by Mark Froggatt MATCH PREVIEW: NEWCASTLE V UNITED Scene-setter: Louis van Gaal’s men secured a second successive win of 2016 on Saturday night with a 1-0 success over Sheffield United in the FA Cup third round. The Reds can gather more momentum against the Magpies and climb up the Barclays Premier League table, with top-four rivals Liverpool meeting Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur facing Leicester City on Wednesday evening. Form guide: United have only registered two wins in the last 10 games across all competitions and disappointingly dropped 13 league points in December. The Reds have an encouraging record on Tyneside, however, having recorded three consecutive wins without conceding a goal. Newcastle are also struggling for form and have lost their last four games 1-0. Steve McClaren’s side may draw some encouragement from their last outing against United, the 0-0 draw at Old Trafford in August. Latest team news: It is unclear whether Bastian Schweinsteiger will feature after the German suffered an apparent knee injury against the Blades. Phil Jones missed that game though injury, though Jesse Lingard made his comeback from the bench and is surely in contention to feature again on Tuesday. Luke Shaw, Marcos Rojo and Antonio Valencia are still long-term absentees. Newcastle are without Jack Colback, Vernon Anita, Papiss Cisse, Mike Williamson, Massadio Haidara, Rolando Aarons, Tim Krul, Gabriel Obertan, Steven Taylor, Emmanuel Riviere and Curtis Good. View from United: “Tuesday against Newcastle will be tough; it is always tough there but we started the new year well so we have to continue that.” – Marouane Fellaini Danger man: Georginio Wijnaldum was signed from PSV Eindhoven in the summer and is currently Newcastle’s top scorer with seven goals from 22 appearances, with four of those strikes notched during a 6-2 battering of Norwich City in October. The Netherlands international is a former team-mate of Memphis Depay at the Phillips Stadion. Did you know? Newcastle’s official match programme on Tuesday will pay tribute to former Newcastle goalkeeper Pavel Srnicek, who sadly passed away late last month. His old team-mates Alan Shearer, Warren Barton, Peter Beardsley and Steve Harper are among the Magpies who pay tribute inside. Last meeting: Wayne Rooney saw a goal disallowed and Chris Smalling hit the post when United were held to a 0-0 stalemate at home in August. The Reds had 20 shots at target compared to Newcastle's seven, yet the points were shared and van Gaal was left frustrated. "The performance was one of the best in my period but we don't reward ourselves. There was only one club that wanted to win and that was us,” the manager explained afterwards. Referee: Mike Dean will take charge of his 20th fixture of the season and his third involving United, having previously refereed the 1-0 win at Aston Villa and 2-0 home victory over West Bromwich Albion. In total, he has dished out 67 yellow cards and seven red cards this campaign. Rivals watch: Aston Villa face Crystal Palace and Bournemouth host West Ham United in Tuesday's other Premier League fixtures. On Wednesday, Chelsea face West Brom and Manchester City tackle Everton, with Liverpool meeting Arsenal and Tottenham coming up against Leicester. link : manutd.com

Re: [EPL] Newcastle United vs Manchester United
SCHWEINSTEIGER OUT OF NEWCASTLE TRIP Bastian Schweinsteiger will miss Manchester United's trip to Newcastle United on Tuesday after picking up a knee injury against Sheffield United at the weekend. The midfielder sustained the problem towards the end of Saturday's 1-0 Emirates FA Cup win over the Blades, though he gamely played on because the Reds had already used all three substitutes. Louis van Gaal admitted after the game that it would be "difficult" for Schweinsteiger to face the Magpies and the manager has now confirmed the Germany international will not feature at St James' Park. "Bastian is injured, that we know," van Gaal told MUTV at the Aon Training Complex on Monday. "We have seen that because he could not move. "In spite of playing more or less with 10-and-a-half men, we beat Sheffield United and we were very happy with that." Van Gaal revealed he will also need to assess other members of his squad ahead of a second game in four days. "That is difficult, because it is so close to the match against Sheffield United," he said. "We have to recover. Yesterday we recovered but we have to see if the players are still overloaded or not. Until this moment, the players have not arrived so we have to wait and see. "After I know all the data, I can line up. That is why it is always difficult in a period when we have to play a lot of matches. You have to wait to see how the players are recovering of the load in the match." Van Gaal also confirmed that Adnan Januzaj will not play for the Reds' Under-21s tonight. The Belgian forward, who returned to the club last week after his loan spell at Borussia Dortmund was cancelled, had been pencilled in to face Reading. "We have reconsidered and we think we have to build him up for the game and not risk too much by putting him in a game at once," van Gaal said. Link : manutd.com Riwayatmu bung

Re: [EPL] Newcastle United vs Manchester United
Newcastle vs Manchester United: Team news, kick-off time, probable line-ups, odds and stats for the Premier League clash
* Manchester United face struggling Newcastle at St James' Park * Fabricio Coloccini and Kevin Mbabu are doubts for the clash * Bastian Schweinsteiger has been ruled out by Louis van Gaal Team news Newcastle Newcastle head coach Steve McClaren has a series of injury doubts ahead of Tuesday night's Barclays Premier League clash with Manchester United. Skipper Fabricio Coloccini is struggling with a hamstring problem, as are fellow defender Kevin Mbabu (thigh) and midfielder Florian Thauvin (ankle), although midfielder Jack Colback (also hamstring) has returned to training. Winger Rolando Aarons (foot) and striker Emmanuel Riviere (knee) are back in contention and defender Steven Taylor (also hamstring) and striker Papiss Cisse (groin) are also close to returns, but keeper Tim Krul (knee ligaments), defender Massadio Haidara (knee) and midfielders Gabriel Obertan and Vurnon Anita (both hamstring) remain on the sidelines. Provisional squad: Elliot, Darlow, Janmaat, Dummett, Sterry, Coloccini, Mbemba, Lascelles, Mbabu, Sterry, Colback, Tiote, Wijnaldum, Sissoko, Thauvin, De Jong, Gouffran, Aarons, Mitrovic, Perez, Riviere, Toney. Manchester United Midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger is out of Manchester United's match at Newcastle on Tuesday because of a knee injury he sustained in Saturday's FA Cup win over Sheffield United. Antonio Valencia (foot), Luke Shaw (leg) and Marcos Rojo (shoulder) are out while Phil Jones is unlikely to feature because of his ankle problem. Ashley Young, Michael Carrick and Morgan Schneiderlin are likely to return to the squad after being rested for the 1-0 win over the Blades. Provisional squad: De Gea, Romero, Varela, Darmian, Borthwick-Jackson, Smalling, Blind, McNair, Schneiderlin, Carrick, Herrera, Fellaini, Depay, Lingard, Powell, Mata, Young, Pereira, Martial, Rooney, Keane. Key match stats supplied by Opta Newcastle have suffered 25 Premier League defeats against Manchester United; their joint-highest tally in the competition against an opponent (alongside Arsenal). Manchester United have lost just one of their last 12 Premier League away games versus Newcastle United (W9 D2 L1). In fact, only away to Everton at Goodison Park and Aston Villa at Villa Park (both 15 wins) have Manchester United won more Premier League away games than versus Newcastle at St James’ Park (12). The Magpies have failed to score and have attempted just eight shots on target in their last three Premier League home games against Man Utd. Wayne Rooney has scored 12 Premier League goals against Newcastle United – only against Aston Villa (13) has he scored more often. Rooney scored in Manchester United’s last Premier League game against Swansea – the England striker hasn’t netted in successive league appearances since November 2014. The Red Devils have lost their last two Premier League away games (at Bournemouth and Stoke) – they have not lost three successive top-flight away matches since January 1996. Newcastle United have lost three successive matches by a 0-1 scoreline. The Magpies have made a league-low 307 touches inside the opposition box so far this season. Newcastle have lost more points from winning positions than any other Premier League side this season (12). Quote:

Re: [EPL] Newcastle United vs Manchester United
United di untungkan krn banyak pemain pilar the toon army masuk ruang perawatan.
Line up : De Gea Young, Smalling, Blind, Darmian Carrick - Schneiderlin Martial - Herrera - Memphis Rooney
