Re: [Final FA Cup] Crystal Palace vs Manchester United
Manchester United and Crystal Palace fans banned from wearing club colours in corporate seats at FA Cup final
* Manchester United play Crystal Palace in FA Cup final at Wembley * Club Wembley members will not be allowed to wear team colours * FA crackdown on dress code comes in wake of several ugly incidents * Supporters who wear banned clothing could be ejected from seats The FA are to ban all Wembley corporate seat supporters of Manchester United and Crystal Palace from wearing their club colours at the FA Cup final on Saturday. All 15,000 season ticket holders with access to Club Wembley and Bobby Moore Club hospitality areas of the stadium have received emails this week telling them that they risk being ejected — even for wearing a club lapel badge on a jacket. Replica shirts had never been allowed in the Club Wembley seats but the club branding clothing restrictions that ‘will be strictly enforced’ now extend to scarves, hats, flags, foam hands and any clothing items, including club ties, bags, face paint, badges and lanyards. Crystal Palace fans sitting in corporate seats at Wembley on Saturday cannot wear their team's colours The ‘No Club Colours’ crackdown introduced by FA management follows a number of ugly confrontations that took place between rival fans in the corporate hospitality areas across the semi-final weekend when Watford were beaten by Crystal Palace and Manchester United defeated Everton. The email from the Club Wembley Team reads: ‘This rule has never been extended to other items than replica shirts; however, due to a number of incidents at recent events, a “No Club Colours” policy is being introduced and will be strictly enforced from the Emirates FA Cup final. ‘Should club colours be worn, you may be refused entry or be removed from the stadium for your own safety.’ Code:

Re: [Final FA Cup] Crystal Palace vs Manchester United
Pleaseeeeee

Re: [Final FA Cup] Crystal Palace vs Manchester United
Yohan Cabaye felt FA Cup final dream would never come true at Newcastle but feels Crystal Palace players are determined
* Newcastle had to prioritise Premier League ahead of cup competitions * Yohan Cabaye says that Alan Pardew has always been a fan of the FA Cup * Cabaye's first memories of the Cup surround Eric Cantona's goal in 1996 * Crystal Palace take on Manchester United in the FA Cup final on Saturday Crystal Palace's Yohan Cabaye has revealed the malaise at Newcastle led to him believing he would never play in an FA Cup final, as he will against Manchester United on Saturday. Saturday's showpiece at Wembley represents a significant transformation in the careers of both Cabaye and manager Alan Pardew, given the opportunity it presents and the contrast from that and their time at Newcastle. Cabaye excelled as an individual at St James' Park but returned to the Premier League with Palace last summer after his career stalled at Paris St Germain. Pardew left Newcastle for Palace just seven months earlier, and has this season prioritised the FA Cup in a way he previously could not at a club which was recently relegated to the Championship. screen shot windows 7 Yohan Cabaye has said that the malaise at Newcastle meant he never thought he would play in an FA Cup final It is no secret Pardew was discouraged from pursuing glory in cup competitions and to prioritise only the league, and having witnessed that attitude during his two and a half years there, Cabaye recognises he has been given a chance he believed was beyond him. 'To be honest, no,' Cabaye, 30, answered when asked if he ever thought he'd play in the cup final. 'At Newcastle the cup runs were very bad and now I have the opportunity to play in a big game. 'The FA Cup semi-final (win over Watford) was fantastic, the atmosphere was very good and yeah, I am disappointed I didn't get that with Newcastle. 'The cup has always been important (to Pardew), even at Newcastle. Maybe the group mentality is different. 'All the players now know how important the cup is, to get a trophy. We have had a fantastic run, we have beaten four Premier League teams (to reach the final) and now we are in the final. All the players are focused and determined to win.' The midfielder's first memories of the cup surround the 1996 final, when a late goal from Eric Cantona secured United's 1-0 defeat of Liverpool. Though a significant figure for United during the 1990s, Cantona was unable to reproduce his club form for France - whose inclusion of Cabaye in their squad for Euro 2016 justifies his decision to leave PSG for Palace - but that did little to stop him inspiring a player who watched him while growing up. 'I liked Cantona's mentality,' said Cabaye, who appeared unaware of the extent to which Palace fans have disliked the retired forward since the night he kicked one of them at Selhurst Park. 'He had fantastic confidence and he was such a great player. I am disappointed for him that he couldn't have a big influence with the French squad but for me he was one of the biggest French players. 'Cantona, even (David) Ginola, were very, very important for French players to know more about the Premier League (during the 1990s in France).' Code:
