(Manchester United 38 24 8 6 79 31 +48 80, Arsenal 38 20 10 8 63 38 +25 70)

Dicermati lagi Oom, udah 2 kali tuh, 14 April 2001 ama 22 April 2000
Klo ntar bisa memastikan gelar (insya Allah), berarti 22 Aprilnya yg 2 kali

Yg geli baca saat Opa Fergie malah asyik nonton snooker, pdhl ada match yg ngaruh ama kemungkinan gelar juara buat United
Yah kayak semalem itu kali yaa, banyak fans United yg 'konsen' ke match Spurs vs City

They've done it! After their win against Aston Villa tonight, Manchester United have crossed the finish line and are officially the champions of England for the 20th time.

Their closest challengers, defending champions Manchester City, are now 16 points behind with just 15 left to fight for.

The manner of United's triumph has been magnificent, the margin of victory emphatic - but how does this season compare to their other 19 titles and which records are still there to be broken?

In association with Opta, Sportsmail presents the Champions by numbers.

Three and easy: Robin van Persie netted a hat-trick in United's win

Making the difference: Van Persie netted 24 goals in the Premier League this season

WHEN THE TITLE WAS WON

Although Manchester United have wrapped up the title before the end of April, it is by no means the earliest the Premier League has been won.

This is the sixth occasion the league has been secured before May, with the earliest coming in 2001 when United were mathematically out of sight on April 14, with five rounds left to play.

They beat Coventry City 4-2 at Old Trafford on the Saturday lunchtime and then nearest challengers Arsenal surprisingly lost 3-0 at home to Middlesbrough.

Lift off! Ryan Giggs scores Manchester United's third goal in their 4-2 win over Coventry on April 14, 2001. A defeat for Arsenal later that day ensured the Premier League trophy stayed at Old Trafford

Throwing in the towel: Arsenal lost 3-0 at home to Middlesbrough at Highbury that same afternoon to hand United the title

Seventh heaven: Sir Alex Ferguson poses with the bubbly after United secured their success

After tonight, there are four rounds of fixtures remaining, making this the third time the League has been sewn up at this point.

In 2000, United beat Southampton 3-1 at The Dell to cross the line with four matches left and they went on to win by a record 18-point margin from Arsenal.

And in 2004, Arsenal's 'Invincibles' gained the point they needed at Tottenham in a 2-2 draw with a quartet of games still to come. They eventually finished 11 points ahead of Chelsea.

MARGIN OF VICTORY

The absolute maximum possible difference between Manchester United and the second-placed team this season is 28 points, but that assumes Manchester City lose all their remaining games and United win all theirs.

It's much more likely the gap will be in the teens, with Sir Alex Ferguson doubtless reminding his players that the record difference is 18 points.

This was set in 1999-2000, when United cruised to the title ahead of Arsenal.

Domination: United won the Premier League by an 18-point margin from Arsenal in 1999-2000

On five occasions during the Premier League era (since 1992-1993), the title has been won by a double-figure margin - United's triumphs in 1993, 2000 and 2001, Arsenal in 2004 and Chelsea in 2005.

The closest title race post-1992 was, of course, last season when City pipped United in the final minute of the final day. It is the only time the top two have finished on the same number of points.

Unforgettable: In the most dramatic climax to the Premier League, Sergio Aguero won the title for City last year in the third minute of stoppage time

HOME COMFORTS

This is only the third time United have secured the title at Old Trafford, meaning they've won 10 either on their travels or by virtue of results going their way.

In the Treble-winning campaign of 1998-1999, United beat Tottenham 2-1, thanks to goals from David Beckham and Andrew Cole, on the final day, edging out Arsenal by a single point overall.

Title winner: Andrew Cole lobs the ball over the Tottenham keeper to hand Manchester United the title and the first leg of the Treble in 1999 (below)

And in 2009, a draw at home to Arsenal was sufficient to hand United their third successive crown.

There was, famously, one other occasion when the title was decided at Old Trafford - 2002, when Arsenal's Sylvain Wiltord scored the goal that won both the match and the title.

In games in which they've been involved, United have also won championships at Middlesbrough (1996), Southampton (2000), Wigan (2008) and Blackburn (2011).

Coup de Grace: Arsenal's Sylvain Wiltord finishes past compatriot Fabian Barthez to win the title for Arsenal at Old Trafford in 2002

MOST POINTS

United can surpass the Premier League record for the most number of points in a season, set by Chelsea in 2004-2005, and this will provide Sir Alex Ferguson with a means of motivation in the coming 'dead rubber' games.

They will need to win all their games - against Arsenal (A), Chelsea (H), Swansea (H) and West Brom (A) - to achieve it.

A more obtainable target is to surpass the club record for the most number of points amassed in a title-winning season.

Record breakers: Chelsea amassed a record 95 points in the 2004-2005 season, a total United could surpass if they win all four of their remaining games

Taking the modern three points for a win system, United have twice racked up 92 points - under Sir Matt Busby in 1957 and Ferguson in 1994. However, on both those occasions, 42 matches were played.

In the familiar 38-game season, the mark to beat is 90, set in 2008-2009.

United's lowest points total in a title-winning season over 38 games is 74, way back in 1910-1911, while in the Premier League era it's the 75 they collected in 1996-1997.

Just champion: United won the title in 1997 having collected just 75 points from their 38 games

POINT PER GAME AVERAGE

United, beaten only four times in the league this season, are on course to beat their previous record for the average number of points gained from each match.

With 27 wins and three draws from their 34 games, they average 2.47 points per match. Their previous best was 2.39 in 1999-2000.

Comparison: United's season records during their 20 title-winning seasons (NB: statistics for current season are before Villa game). Source: Opta

MOST WINS

By recording their 27th win of the season tonight, United are now just one behind equalling their previous best and would be fancied to beat this particular record with so many games remaining.

In 1957 and 2009, United finished the season with 28 wins - the first of those was over 42 games and the second over 38.

As a result of this, United's win percentage of 78.8 this season is by some distance the best of their title-winning years. It's also higher than Chelsea's 76.3 per cent in 2004-2005.

Nice ornament: Matt Busby with the First Division trophy in 1957 - United won 28 of their 42 league matches that season

FEWEST LOSSES

United have lost four times this year - against Everton (A, 0-1), Tottenham (H, 2-3), Norwich (A, 0-1) and Man City (H, 1-2) - and so won't match their best in this particular measure.

That came in 1999-2000, when their only three defeats were against Chelsea (A, 0-5), Tottenham (A, 1-3) and Newcastle (A, 0-3).

In their maiden title success, in 1908, they lost nine games and still won the title.

Too little, too late: Sergio Aguero scores the winner in the Manchester derby on April 8, though it didn't change the destination of the Premier League title

FEWEST DRAWS

United have been so ruthless this season that draws have been a real rarity - just three in the Premier League so far, at Swansea (1-1), Tottenham (1-1) and West Ham (2-2).

Their last success, in 2011, saw them draw 11 games and in 1998-1999 they tied on 13 occasions.

MOST GOALS SCORED

United still have some way to go to beat the Premier League and their own club bests on this one.

In 2009-2010, Chelsea scored a remarkable 103 goals on their way to a third title triumph.

United's best is also 103, set in 1957 over 42 games in the old First Division, and their Premier League peak is 97 from 1999-2000.

Free-scoring: Andrew Cole scores for United in a 7-1 home win over West Ham on April 1, 2000, one of 97 league goals scored that season
