State of play: The Reds' Chinese fixture on the DHL tour is against Shanghai Shenhua, the ambitious local outfit who have Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka in their ranks. The Chevrolet China Cup game is at the Shanghai Stadium, with the Manchester United Premier Cup final for the world's best Under-15s taking place beforehand as a curtain-raiser.

Ins and outs: Sir Alex pledged to give all his players an outing on tour so Sam Johnstone can hope for a stint in goal, especially as Ben Amos has flown back to the UK to join Hull City on loan. There is likely to be a mix of youth and experience again with Shinji Kagawa in line for a second start and Bebe hoping his late equaliser against Ajax Cape Town earns him a place. Drogba has injected fresh life into a struggling team and set up a goal for Cao Yunding on his debut against Guangzhou R&F.

Last game in Shanghai: In the Treble-winning year of 1999, the Reds won 2-0 against Shenhua. The goalscoring heroes from Camp Nou were on target again as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer netted after an hour and then set up Teddy Sheringham for the clincher.

Opposition boss: Former Argentina manager Sergio Batista is the new head coach after replacing Anelka, who had stepped in as player-coach following Jean Tigana's sacking. The 49-year-old was a midfielder in his playing days and represented Argentinos Juniors over 250 times, winning the World Cup with his country in 1986.

SHANGHAI: Shanghai Shenhua signing Didier Drogba may not play in his side's high-profile friendly against Manchester United on Wednesday due to a back injury, team manager Sergio Batista said.

The former Chelsea star missed a public training session on Tuesday, and Batista said he would make a final decision on Drogba's inclusion in the squad nearer to the game.

"Right now we can't say for sure because he has a back problem. We will see tomorrow," said the Argentinian.

The Ivory Coast star made his debut in China last Sunday, coming on as a second half substitute to set up his side's equalizer in a 1-1 draw away to Guangzhou R&F.

The highly-anticipated clash with United could see Drogba reunited with former Chelsea team-mate Nicolas Anelka for the first time since the pair left the English Premier League.

Drogba joined Shenhua in June on a two-and-a-half year contract reported to be worth around 200,000 pounds ($314,000) a week.

Batista suggested he may choose a second-string squad to play against Sir Alex Ferguson's men, saying he would rest key players in preparation for Shenhua's clash away to league leaders Guangzhou Evergrande on Saturday.

"Even though its just a commercial game we will still prepare for it seriously. But for us, the domestic championship is more important," the former Argentinian national side coach said.

United players also appeared at the public training session and were watched by a cheering crowd of several hundred red-shirted Chinese fans.

Shenhua take on the Red Devils at the 80,000 capacity Shanghai Stadium.

Shanghai markir 11 pemainnya di belakang, jadi kesannya penuh banget di daerah lawan.

Di babak pertama yang mainnya paling mengesankan Petrucci sama Powell.

Petrucci dimainin di gelandang kiri tapi dia ga canggung, selalu coba membongkar pertahanan lawan pake umpan-upan terobosan, selalu coba drifting ke tengah, dan dia punya passing range yang sangat bagus. Ga jarang dia pindahin bola ke sisi lain lapangan dengan umpan panjang dan hampir semuanya akurat. Punya inteligensi bermain yang bagus.

Nick Powell main sangat bagus di tengah. Dia benar2 bisa nyeimbangin antara bertahan dan menyerang. Ga takut main tackle dan duel sama pemain lawan, dan ga takut nyoba tendangan jarak jauh. Punya timing yang tepat untuk maju ke pertahanan lawan dan punya peluang emas saat 1 on 1 setelah dapat umpan caem dari Petrucci, sayang melebar.

Veseli solid di kanan. Brady bagus saat menyerang tapi sering diterobos sama lawan pake through pass. Untungnya dia punya speed yang oke jadi selalu bisa menutupi kesalahannya.

Kagawa lumayan tapi ga terlalu bersinar. Selalu berusaha menjemput bola ke bawah dan ngalirin bola ke depan.
