Reds name Milk Cup squad

United have named their squad for next week's Milk Cup tournament.

The Reds will take an 18-man squad over to Northern Ireland for the competition and we will have coverage of their progress on ManUtd.com.

Paul McGuinness' charges open their campaign with a match against Zamora FC on Monday evening before taking on Co.Tyrone and Hartlepool in the Premier Section.

A number of first-year scholars will be involved as they will form part of next season's Academy group but there's some more experienced youngsters including Tyler Blackett and Gyliano van Velzen, who were part of last term's FA Youth Cup-winning squad.

Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and David Beckham are among the tournament's most famous alumni.
