kang Ole.. kalau mau menang jangan tanggung tanggung .. lebih berani saja main terbuka meski dengan resiko bek tengah yang dimiliki saat ini sangat riskan dibobol ketika counter attack...

tetap berharap Martial dibangku cadangkan

Full attack please

Glenn Hoddle lavishes praise on 'ruthless, professional' Manchester United after their huge 9-0 victory over Southampton at Old Trafford

* Manchester United put nine past Southampton on Tuesday in a top performance
* Southampton got an early red card, and were put under pressure the entire time
* They are level with points at the top with City, although still five goals behind

Glenn Hoddle has lavished praised Manchester United's performance at Old Trafford on Tuesday night, where they beat Southampton 9-0 in an incredible game.

They were already 4-0 up at half-time after a very early red card, and then further punished Southampton in the second half, adding another five.

'They were ruthless, United,' Hoddle told BT Sport.

Manchester United punished Southampton's red cards to score nine goals on Tuesday night. Glenn Hoddle was full of praise for their ruthless performance at Old Trafford

'Mentally, in the second half you see that each player was pushing each other on, it doesn’t matter what the score is, we are going to just keep going at Southampton.

'You have to feel sorry for Southampton. They had nine players out. That’s bad enough. Then get a man sent off.'

Ralph Hasenhuttl's side has been crippled by injury in recent weeks, and on his first league start for the club, Alexandre Jankewitz got sent off inside two minutes.

Manchester United were clinical in their finishing and didn't let up until the final whistle

'89 minutes to play with 10 men is very very difficult against quality players. But some of the finishing was excellent from Man United. You have to say it is a very ruthless, professional performance.'

Things got even worse for Southampton a few minutes before the final whistle, when, after a VAR check, Mike Dean showed Jan Bednarek a red card, and gave United a penalty.

‘It’s just what the doctor ordered after the week they’ve had,' said fellow pundit and former United player Rio Ferdinand. 'They got themselves into a great position in the league and didn’t justify themselves.

Even Manchester United's substitutes got involved, with Anthony Martial scoring twice

'We asked for a performance. They were helped by a red card but this is what their strike-force needed. This is where they regain their confidence and really get their momentum going again.'

United were all over Southampton from the start, and fans will have been pleased to see they did not let up the pressure even when the game was already won.

The win has closed the goal difference gap to Manchester City considerably. They sit on the same number of points at the top of the table, however City have two games in hand.

Southampton win their appeal against Jan Bednarek's controversial straight red card for fouling Anthony Martial during 9-0 loss to Man United as FA lift defender's suspension

* Jan Bednarek was sent off late in Southampton's 9-0 loss to Manchester United
* Polish defender was dismissed after bringing down Anthony Martial in the box
* Referee Mike Dean made decision after reviewing the incident on VAR screen
* Southampton appealed the decision and FA commission has overturned his ban
* Rules state players should only be booked if they've attempted to reach the ball
* Bednarek will now be available for the Saints' trip to Newcastle on Saturday

Southampton have succeeded in their appeal against Jan Bednarek's suspension following his contentious red card in Tuesday night's 9-0 defeat to Manchester United.

The defender was shown a straight red card for fouling Anthony Martial in the penalty area following a VAR review that involved match referee Mike Dean watching several replays.

Southampton appealed to the Football Association, who have upheld their claim of wrongful dismissal, meaning Bednarek will be available for their upcoming games, including Saturday's trip to Newcastle United.

That decision, plus others during their defeats to Aston Villa last Saturday and United on Tuesday, led to Southampton making the extraordinary request that Dean and Lee Mason aren't allowed to officiate their games in the near future.

Southampton defender Jan Bednarek was shown a straight red card for this foul on Manchester United striker Anthony Martial on Tuesday

Referee Mike Dean sent Bednarek off for the challenge, much to his amazement. Dean watched multiple replays of the incident on the pitchside VAR monitor before the call

A statement by the FA read: 'Jan Bednarek will be available for Southampton FC's next fixture after an independent Regulatory Commission upheld a claim of wrongful dismissal and removed his suspension.

'The defender was sent off for denying an obvious goal scoring opportunity during a Premier League fixture against Manchester United FC on Tuesday [02/02/21].'

Southampton were losing the game 7-0, having been reduced to 10 men after only 79 seconds when Alex Jankewitz was sent off for a horror tackle on Scott McTominay, when Bednarek was adjudged to have fouled Martial in the box three minutes from time.

There appeared to be minimal contract but, after a VAR check at the pitchside monitor that lasted several minutes, Dean pointed to the spot and flashed a straight red card at Bednarek.

Bednarek remonstrates with referee Mike Dean after the controversial decision on Tuesday. That decision angered the centre back who said 'Martial said it's not a foul!' as he walked off

He protested while walking down the tunnel, with television microphones recording him saying 'Martial said it's not a foul'.

The rules state that if the offending player makes an attempt to play the ball, as Bednarek did, then it should only be a yellow card in such a situation.

Southampton were so incensed, they requested a meeting with referees' body PGMOL to demand that Dean and Mason, who took charge of their 1-0 home loss to Villa on Saturday, when Dean was VAR official, don't officiate any of their games in the near future.

It came after they were denied a penalty when Villa's Matty Cash appeared to clearly handle the ball in the box and then saw a stoppage time equaliser by Danny Ings chalked off for the most marginal of offside calls.

And earlier in their loss at Old Trafford, at 4-0 down, Che Adams saw a goal disallowed for another fractional offside call.
