Re: [EPL] West Ham United vs Manchester United
16/04/2013 08:00 - ManUtd.com, Adam Bostock Preview: West Ham v Man Utd Form guide: After the derby disappointment, Manchester United returned to winning ways in what might be considered a similar fixture to Wednesday’s, away to Stoke City. The 2-0 victory over the Potters will hopefully tee the Reds up for another silky yet steely display against Sam Allardyce’s West Ham United, a side who’ve made good use of Andy Carroll’s aerial prowess during his season-long loan from Liverpool. The powerful striker scored his sixth goal in seven games on Saturday, albeit with a blast from a free-kick rather than a trademark header, as the Hammers held Southampton 1-1 at St Mary’s. Prior to that, Allardyce’s men beat West Brom 3-1 at Upton Park to propel their push towards guaranteed safety and potentially a top-half finish. Ins and outs: Sir Alex Ferguson could freshen up at the back, especially if he feels Nemanja Vidic – described as a “bit short” of fitness by the boss on Friday – and Rio Ferdinand need a rest after the rigours of Stoke. Jonny Evans and Chris Smalling were both fit enough to be on the bench at the Britannia Stadium. As for West Ham, defenders Winston Reid and George McCartney and midfielders Mark Noble and Joe Cole were all unavailable for selection by Allardyce on Saturday. Last meeting: Wayne Rooney scored the only goal when the Reds beat the Hammers 1-0 at Old Trafford in January’s FA Cup third-round replay, after the original tie at Upton Park ended 2-2.* Did you know? The Reds’ first-ever league match at Upton Park was on Boxing Day (26 December) in 1922. Nothing unusual in that, you might think, but the sides had also played each other 24 hours earlier – yes, on Christmas Day – at Old Trafford. In both games, the away team won (2-1, then 2-0). Opposition boss: Sam Allardyce’s tenure at West Ham will soon outstrip his stint as Blackburn boss in terms of matches he’s been manager for. To date, his 87 games with the Hammers have resulted in 38 wins, 23 draws and 26 defeats. He won only 32 – and lost 34 – of his 90 fixtures with Rovers. Star man: As for so many sides in the top flight, a midfield powerhouse plays a key role for West Ham. In their case, it’s Senegalese international Mohamed Diame, who was reportedly the subject of a clause-triggering £3.5million bid on transfer deadline day in January. Arsenal and Tottenham were rumoured to be interested while Allardyce quipped at the time, “Whatever he says now [about remaining at West Ham], if Manchester United ring up in one hour’s time, he’s not going to want to stay, is he?” Diame did stay, of course, and was a driving force in the recent victory over West Brom. More of a defensive man, his two goals in this debut season include one in December’s home win against Chelsea. Quote/unquote: “I think if we win them all, we get a record in our pockets, so it's a good aim, a nice target for all of us to achieve.”*– Wayne Rooney eyes the six remaining games, starting with West Ham. Sub-plots: If the Reds pick up at least a point in East London, then the club’s next visit to the capital could be the day we're all waiting for. After hosting Aston Villa next Monday, 22 April, Sir Alex's men go to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal on Sunday 28. Seven points from those three games would confirm United as champions, even if Manchester City keep winning. Whistle blower: Wiltshire’s Lee Probert will referee a Reds match for only the second time this season, having previously been on duty for November’s home win over Queens Park Rangers. He’s shown two red cards in his last two games – dismissing Steve Sidwell in Fulham’s derby clash with QPR and Everton’s Steven Pienaar during their helpful 2-0 win against Man City. Rivals watch: City will entertain Wigan, also on Wednesday night, in a dress rehearsal for next month’s FA Cup final at Wembley. League-wise, this fixture has resulted in four wins on the spin for the Etihad hosts, all with clean sheets. The Latics’ last goal at the ground was six visits ago, in 2006/07, when they did the double over the Blues. |

Re: [EPL] West Ham United vs Manchester United
udah dari kmrn2 kali Bro ..., cek aja tuh kulkasnya ...
Skuad yg dibawa Opa Fergie ke upton park sama nih ama yg dibawa ke britannia stadium kmrn, ada 20 pemain, syukur deh kagak nambah daftar cedera _________________________ ManUtd.com, G Thompson Sir Alex: No new injuries Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed the Reds came away from Stoke unscathed and revealed that the same squad will travel to West Ham on Wednesday. Goals from Michael Carrick and Robin van Persie secured a vital 2-0 win for United on Sunday to stretch the lead at the top to 15 points. Sir Alex's men need seven more to secure a 20th league title and have the opportunity to pick up another three at Upton Park on Wednesday night. "We have no injuries from Sunday against Stoke. It was a tough game, certainly. But there were no injuries and that is a blessing of course,"*the boss told MUTV. "We have a good, strong squad. We took 20 players with us to Stoke and those 20 players will go with us again on Wednesday night." Last edited by rondwisan; 16-04-2013 at 11:09 PM.. |

Re: [EPL] West Ham United vs Manchester United
Opta Stats: West Ham v Manchester United
West Ham moved a step closer to safety when they gained a point against Southampton at the weekend, but now must face a Manchester United side looking to clinch the Premier League title as quickly as possible. Manchester United have recovered 27 points from losing positions in the Barclays Premier League this season, a divisional high. United are 9.0 to win from behind. Andy Carroll has scored five goals in his last seven Premier League matches. The striker is 4.0 to find the net. Javier Hernandez has the best minutes per goal ratio in Premier League history, netting once every 120 minutes. You can back Hernandez to score at 2.42. Wayne Rooney has scored eight goals in 10 Premier League appearances for Manchester United against the Hammers and also netted in Man Utd's 1-0 FA Cup replay win over West Ham in January. Rooney is 6.2 to be the first goalscorer. Robin van Persie has scored four goals in his last three Premier League appearances against West Ham and also netted for the Red Devils in their FA Cup game at Upton Park earlier this season. The Dutchman is 5.1 to open the scoring. West Ham have failed to score in six of their last seven Premier League games against Manchester United and in the one they did net, both goals were penalties. United are 2.6 to keep a clean sheet. The Red Devils have scored with 19.6% of their shots this season and hit the target with 49.6% of their attempts at goal, both division-high figures. They are 1.15 to score a goal. There have been four penalties scored in the last three Premier League games between West Ham and Man Utd, but the Red Devils are the only team not to concede a spot kick in the league this season. You can find odds of 3.25 on a penalty being taken. Jussi Jaaskelainen has made more saves than any other goalkeeper in the top flight this season (138). A West Ham clean sheet is priced at 6.8.

Re: [EPL] West Ham United vs Manchester United
West Ham V Man Utd at Boleyn Ground - Match Preview
West Ham defender James Tomkins (calf) is a doubt for the Barclays Premier League clash against leaders Manchester United at Upton Park. Winston Reid (hip) and George McCartney (knee) are also struggling for fitness, so Emanuel Pogatetz is ready to stand in. Midfielder Mark Noble (shoulder) is close to a return, but Joe Cole (hamstring) remains a doubt. West Ham manager Sam Allardyce feels it has been "pretty scary" to see Manchester United's dominance this season. The Red Devils could stretch their lead at the top of the table to 18 points with victory at Upton Park, which would leave them within touching distance of the title once again. Allardyce believes the way Sir Alex Ferguson's men have gone about wrestling back superiority from rivals Manchester City, spearheaded by the goals of #24million striker Robin van Persie, has been awe inspiring. "I think you have to say the (United) team is as good as it has ever been because nobody normally wins the title so easily and by so big a margin, or has this much of a margin at this stage of the season," said Allardyce. "It is pretty scary what total they might actually finish with. "Manchester United have been outstanding and it is been about how their squad rotation has been Sir Alex's masterpiece as usual, about playing the right team at the right time. "I suppose you could say that because they got knocked out of the Champions League a little sooner than usual and because they got knocked out of the FA Cup and Capital One Cup, it has given them the strength and energy to be what they are in the Barclays Premier League this year. "They have not had the normal focus on three or four competitions almost to the end, the focus has come on the Premier League and they have just breezed it. "They have just gone 'bang' and everyone else can't get near them." Sir Alex Ferguson has reported no new injury concerns for Manchester United. Tom Cleverley, Ryan Giggs, Jonny Evans, Rafael, Danny Welbeck and Nani are all hoping for a recall but Ashley Young (ankle) and Paul Scholes (knee) remain sidelined. The Red Devils require just seven more points to seal a 20th league title. Source: PA

Re: [EPL] West Ham United vs Manchester United
Sealed with a kiss! Rooney all smiles as Man United head for London and another Premier League title
By PAUL COLLINS PUBLISHED: 16:05 GMT, 16 April 2013 | UPDATED: 16:40 GMT, 16 April 2013 Wayne Rooney has a spring in his step as his Manchester United team-mates power their way towards another Barclays Premier League title. Rooney kissed wife Coleen goodbye at Macclesfield on Tuesday afternoon as United took the train to London for Wednesday night's clash with West Ham. Most of Sir Alex Ferguson's squad were all smiles after Sunday's win at Stoke stretched their lead over Manchester City to 15 points once more. Sealed with a kiss: Wayne Rooney gives wife Coleen a peck before getting on the train at Macclesfield Get a room: Midfielder Michael Carrick watches the Rooneys' public display of affection Happy chappy: Rooney had a grin on his face after Coleen waved him off... and Carrick was having a giggle Robin van Persie ended a 10-game United goal drought at the Britannia Stadium and jumped into the arms of manager Ferguson to celebrate. A clearly delighted Ferguson was left spluttering: 'He nearly killed me, he forgets that I'm 71.' Van Persie's reaction has created a great deal of hilarity in the United dressing room where it has been the chief topic of conversation. But defender Patrice Evra has no intention of following the Dutchman's example. 'No chance. Never,' said the France full back. 'Maybe I will do it with my team-mates. But not with the gaffer. He is older. 'Imagine I go in too strong against him. He could fall, then he might sack me. I will never do that.' Evra could barely keep a straight face as he delivered his assessment of Van Persie's reaction. 'Robin has had a lot of stick from us,' said Evra. 'It was nice. I could see a lot of love and emotion. Nearly there: Rio Ferdinand looked up for a laugh as United power towards the Premier League title 'It is the first time we saw that. Robin can tell you, for two or three days we have been getting at him. It is good to see love like that on the pitch sometimes.' The banter, even at the expense of such a high-profile personality, underlines the spirit within the United squad presently driving them towards a record 20th league title. 'I always say the atmosphere at this club is great,' said Evra. 'That is a big strength for Manchester United. To be fair, Robin told us he was really emotional. He had not scored for 10 games. 'He just showed the passion and the way he wanted to win. He just said, "Hands up guys, it was an emotional game. I did it, it is OK, we can move on now".' United have now moved on from Stoke to West Ham, where they play on Wednesday searching for the first three of the seven points still needed to grab the Premier League trophy back from City. Game faces: Shinji Kagawa and Robin van Persie (right) looked a bit serious as they prepared to head south Outside their Carrington training complex, most assume the task has already been completed. Even up the road at City the towel has been hurled in. Ferguson refuses to think like that until the job is finished, though, and evidently none of his players are thinking that way either after their manager urged them to realign their sights after three big defeats by Real Madrid, Chelsea and City in the space of a month. 'The boss is a winner,' Evra said. 'He said before the Stoke game that the season starts now. He has just told us to win the seven games that are left. That shows you the way he wants to win this 20th title. He told us not to think about the title, just think about winning these seven games. Catch me if you can: Van Persie gave Sir Alex Ferguson a huge hug after scoring against Stoke 'We can still break the (points) record so the challenge for us is to win the seven games we have left. 'It won't be easy but that is the way the boss wants us to play.' Ferguson has confirmed there are no fresh injury concerns for the West Ham trip, with Ashley Young and Paul Scholes still ruled out by ankle and knee problems respectively. Ryan Giggs and Tom Cleverley will both hope for a recall to the midfield berth occupied by Wayne Rooney at Stoke and Rafael, Danny Welbeck and Nani are amongst those eager to play some part. 'We have a good, strong squad,' Ferguson told MUTV. 'We took 20 players with us to Stoke and those 20 players will go with us again tomorrow.'

Re: [EPL] West Ham United vs Manchester United
West Ham Vs Man. United: Tak Perlu Menang Telak
LIVE GLOBAL TV, Kamis (18/4), 01.15 WIB duniasoccer.com - Tujuh poin adalah jumlah yang dibutuhkan Manchester United guna mengamankan titel Premier League ke-20. Tak berlebihan rasanya bila mengatakan jumlah poin tersebut menciut setelah laga kontra West Ham United. Tak peduli, setelah ini, armada Sir Alex Ferguson masih memiliki keleluasaan dengan lima partai tersisa. Terlebih, The Hammers masih kehilangan Joe Cole yang berkutat denganc cedera. Produktivitas The Hammers menanjak pada 15 menit terakhir pertandingan. PRAKIRAAN LINE-UP West Ham United (4-5-1): Jaaskelainen; Demel, Collins, Tomkins, O'Brien; Jarvis, Diame, Nolan, Collison, Vaz Te; Carroll Manchester United (4-4-2): De Gea; Rafael, Evans, Ferdinand, Evra; Valencia, Carrick, Giggs, Nani; Rooney, Van Persie |

In Fergie We Trust , GGMU
