Slh satu youngster favorit gw selain Nick Powell. Gw rasa udah tepat kalo Brady mengisi slot left winger,,entah di Carling atau di UCL ketika United udah memastikan lolos. Brady udah punya international caps,,jd secara mental kynya udah cukup mateng. Kalo diliat2,,winger kiri skrg blm ada yg top perform,,yg ada di squad skrg cuma Nani n Young,,so...ga da salahnya Opa Fergie mulai ksh ksmptan bwd Brady,,mdh2'an bs memberi warna baru bwd serangan United.

Focus on... Robbie Brady

[img][/img]

MUTV's regular feature on United's younger players puts Robbie Brady under the spotlight...

How did you start?
With my dad and brothers. There are a lot of brothers in the family and my bigger brother was a good footballer as well. I think it just runs in the family. There was a big influence from my dad when I was a kid.

First team played for?
St Kevin's Boys. I didn't play for anyone else until I moved to United.

Signed for United..
I trialled a good number of times before 14 or 15 and I think I got along great with the lads when I came over and the coaching staff were great too. I just knew where I wanted to be so it's just as well I've ended up here.

Who were your idols?
Ryan Giggs as a kid. I looked up to the way he played and still do.

Biggest inspiration..
Just the game itself. I've always loved it. I was influenced by my dad and brothers but just love the game.

Biggest achievement..
My two debuts - the one for United and my international debut for Republic of Ireland. It's always great to play for your country at home.

Best friend in football?
Scott Wootton.

Strengths..
I've got a good left foot, a decent range of passing and a decent change of pace.

Skills to improve..
All of it! Everything. I've always strived to have a better right foot and fitness too - hopefully I can get fitter.

Career ambition..
To go as far as I can. I'm at United at the minute and I'm never going to stop pushing for a place there and the same for the internationals. Hopefully, I can cement a spot in the international set-up as well to help me and push on.

What do you love about football?
Everything. The laugh is one of the best things - the people you meet are unbelievable. I have so many best mates now, that's the best thing for me.

What do you hate about football?
Sometimes missing Christmas and stuff like that but that's the only down side to it.

Brady completes Tigers switch

The club can confirm Robbie Brady has joined Hull City for an undisclosed fee.

The winger has impressed on loan at the Hull*this season and last,*and has now completed a permanent move to the Championship and signed a three-and-a-half year deal.

Brady, who officially became a Red in July 2008,*made just one first-team appearance, in September 2012, coming on as a late substitute for Alexander Büttner in the League Cup win over Newcastle at Old Trafford.

The Republic of Ireland international, who caught the eye at full-back during last summer's pre-season trip to South Africa and China, enjoyed a spell on loan at the KC Stadium last season and impressed throughout his stay, so much so that he was invited back by the Tigers earlier this term for another temporary move.

That move has now been made permanent and everyone at Manchester United wishes him well for the future.

Last month, United reserve coach Warren Joyce said that a loan move looked likely for Brady this season, but that the pre-season tour could be his chance to make the breakthrough. "Robbie [Brady] and Josh [King] will definitely go out on loan again but at this time of year they have the chance to catch the manager's eye," Joyce told the Evening Herald.

Robbie Brady feels he had to leave Manchester United for Hull City in January

Robbie Brady made the tough decision to leave Manchester United for Hull City in an effort to protect his international place.

The 21-year-old winger completed a permanent move to the KC Stadium during the January transfer window after taking in two successful loan spells with the Tigers.

He admits he found it difficult to turn his back on United, having come through their academy system, but feels regular football at a competitive Championship club will help to keep him in the Republic of Ireland squad.

Brady is hoping to be capped by his country for a fifth time when Ireland face Poland on Wednesday and acknowledges that he has to be catching the eye at club level if he is to remain in Giovanni Trapattoni's thoughts.

He said: "I have always been a Manchester United fan and I always will be. I love the club.

"But it was just the right time for me to get out and play. I need to be playing every week, especially if I want to stay in the international set-up, so it was the right move.

"Obviously, part of me is disappointed and thinking, 'What if?', but you go away and play and work your way back to the top."

Faith

Brady scored on his senior international debut in a friendly against Oman in September 2012, and has figured in each of the three games Ireland have played since.

Indeed, Trapattoni turned to him in his hour of need when, after a 6-1 World Cup qualifier drubbing by Germany in October, he handed him a start in the 4-1 defeat of the Faroe Islands in Torshavn amid a frenzy of speculation over the manager's future.

Brady said: "I had been playing well before that and to have his trust put in me, it was brilliant for me.

"I was over the moon when I got the nod. Although I thought I could have played a bit better at times, I was still happy with the start.

"I know he's got faith in me, so hopefully I can repay that by playing well.

"It's all I have ever dreamed about, playing for my country at home, especially. I am really enjoying it. It's hopefully the start of more things to come."

Hull City midfielder Robbie Brady has no regrets over leaving Manchester United

Hull City midfielder Robbie Brady has admitted that leaving Manchester United was the best thing he ever did and he has no regrets over the decision.

The 21-year-old spent six years under Sir Alex Ferguson at United before making last season's loan spell at the KC Stadium permanent this summer following Hull's promotion to the Premier League.

Despite Ferguson describing the winger as a possible successor to left-back Patrice Evra, Brady never got a real first team chance at Old Trafford and now he has revealed that turning his back on the former United manager was the right decision.

"I left United on good terms. The six years I was there really helped me as a footballer," he told the Daily Star.

"I wouldn't be where I am now if it wasn't for United and Sir Alex. I enjoyed my time there.

"This is a new chapter. Sir Alex had me playing at left-back and although I'm higher up the pitch now, I think it helped me in the long run.

"I wouldn't be where I am now if it wasn't for United and Sir Alex. I enjoyed my time there."
Robbie Brady
"It's a big step leaving United. I didn't know anything else but them. But it was the right decision and I'm really happy. I left with Sir Alex's blessing.

"He's an inspiration, the best manager ever, and I really enjoyed my time working under him."

His move to Hull saw him play a pivotal role in Steve Bruce's successful side as they secured a return to the Premier League after relegation in 2010.

Brady believes the time was right to move on and his form for last season's Championship runners-up has seen him break into the international setup with Republic of Ireland.

He said: "It was time to move on and things are going well for me now.

"I've got myself into the Ireland squad and we have two qualifiers coming up next week so hopefully I'll get a run out in them both."

The winger helped the Tigers to their first win of the season as his penalty secured the three points over Norwich City and he believes his side have what it takes to survive this season.

He added: "It was a big win. We needed that kick-start. It shows people that we can compete at this level."
