Default [2015/16] League Cup (Capital One Cup) matches

Capital One Cup third round draw: Arsenal face Tottenham at White Hart Lane and champions Chelsea travel to Walsall

* Tottenham will host Arsenal in the Capital One Cup third round
* Champions Chelsea have been drawn against League One side Walsall
* Manchester United welcome Ipswich Town to Old Trafford
* Third round ties will be played the week commencing September 21

Tottenham Hotspur will host Arsenal in the Capital One Cup after the third-round draw was made on Tuesday night.

The two north London rivals will meet at White Hart Lane on the week commencing September 21.

It will be the third time in 10 years the north London rivals have met in the competition, with Arsenal victorious in a two-legged semi-final in 2007, Spurs gaining revenge at the same stage the following year with a 6-2 aggregate scoreline and Arsenal winning 4-1 after extra time in the third round in 2010-11.

Chelsea beat Tottenham 2-0 in the 2015 final at Wembley on March 1 and will begin their defence against the League Two side.

The draw has thrown up two other local derbies as Aston Villa, who needed extra-time before eventually overcoming Notts County 5-3 at Villa Park in the second round on Tuesday, come up against Birmingham.

While Crystal Palace, who also needed extra-time to beat League One opposition Shrewsbury Town, welcome fellow south-east Londoners Charlton Athletic to Selhurst Park.

After knocking out Queens Park Rangers, League Two side Carlisle are rewarded with a trip to Anfield to take on Liverpool.

Premier League leaders Manchester City travel to the North-East to face Sunderland, who beat Exeter 6-3 on Tuesday as Jermain Defoe grabbed a hat-trick, and Leicester City play West Ham.

In the final tie of the second round Everton travel to Barnsley on Wednesday night with the winner taking on Reading at the Madejski Stadium.

Capital One Cup quarter-final draw: Manchester City face Hull City at home with Liverpool travelling to Southampton

* Manchester City will host Hull City in the Capital One Cup quarter-finals
* Southampton vs Liverpool, Stoke City vs Sheffield Wednesday and Middlesbrough vs Everton were the other picks in Wednesday night's draw
* Ties will be played on Tuesday and Wednesday in first week of November

Favourites Manchester City have been handed a home tie against Hull City in the Capital One Cup quarter-final draw, with Liverpool travelling to Southampton in the only all-Premier League clash.

Stoke City's reward for beating holders Chelsea is a home tie against Arsenal conquerors Sheffield Wednesday while Middlesbrough host Everton.

Premier League leaders City, who last won this competition in 2014, are the favourites to claim the first piece of silverware of the season following the fourth-round exits of Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal.

And having beaten 5-1 Crystal Palace at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night they will now take on Hull, who they could only scrape a late draw against at the same venue last season before the Tigers were relegated from the top flight.

Hull beat Leicester City on penalties at the KC Stadium following a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.

The other two Championship clubs in the draw have been kept apart, with Liverpool's trip to Southampton the only clash between two Premier League sides.

Jurgen Klopp's men beat Bournemouth 1-0 at Anfield on Wednesday to set up the tie with Ronald Koeman's Saints, who pulled out a 2-1 victory over managerless Aston Villa.

Sheffield Wednesday come up against Premier League opposition again, having beaten Arsenal 3-0 in the last round, when they travel to Stoke. The Potters triumphed on penalties against holders Chelsea on Tuesday evening.

Finally, Middlesbrough have a home tie against Everton to enjoy after knocking out Manchester United on penalties at Old Trafford. The Toffees also had a shootout to thank after they beat Norwich City on Tuesday.

All matches will be played in the week beginning November 30, with Sky Sports yet to choose which fixtures will be televised.

Capital One Cup semi-final draw: Everton face Manchester City while Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool play Stoke

* Everton will face Manchester City in the Capital One Cup semi-finals
* Roberto Martinez's side will host Manuel Pellegrini's side in first leg
* Liverpool face Stoke over two legs after thrashing Southampton 6-1
* Jurgen Klopp's men travel to the Britannia Stadium for the first leg
* First legs will be played week beginning January 4, second leg January 25

Everton have been drawn with Manchester City in the Capital One Cup semi-finals while Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool will have to overcome Stoke City in the last four.

Roberto Martinez's men were kept away from their arch rivals after beating Middlesbrough 2-0 but have a tricky task ahead of them in cup favourites City.

Liverpool's reward for thrashing Southampton 6-1 on Wednesday, where they went 1-0 down in the first minute, is a two-legged clash with Mark Hughes' side.

Semi-final second leg: w/c January 25
Goals from Gerard Deulofeu and Romelu Lukaku sealed the win for the Toffees while City eased to a 4-1 win over Championship side Hull.

Wilfried Bony opened the scoring for Manuel Pellegrini's men before a late Kelechi Iheanacho and Kevin De Bruyne's double made sure of the win.

The other semi-final sees Klopp's men face Stoke but their route to the last four was made difficult when Sadio Mane had given Southampton an early lead at St Mary's.

However, a Divock Origi hat-trick and a Daniel Sturridge double helped Klopp's men book a spot in the semi-finals.

Stoke had beaten Championship outfit Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 on Tuesday night thanks to goals from Ibrahim Afellay and Phil Bardsley.

Everton host City at Goodison Park for the first of their two-legged clash, while Stoke are at the Britannia Stadium for the first leg against Liverpool.

The first legs will be played week beginning January with the return matches played the week commencing January 25.
