Re: [UCL] Manchester United vs Olympiakos Piraeus (2nd leg)
Preview: Olympiacos
Date, time and coverage: Wednesday 19 March, 19:45 GMT. The match will be shown live in the UK on Sky Sports. You can also follow it live via ManUtd.com's rolling blog and MUTV Online's exclusive radio commentary. Highlights will be available from 23:00. Form guide: Two Steven Gerrard penalties and a Luis Suarez strike saw United lose 3-0 to Liverpool on Sunday, a result that leaves the Reds seventh in the Barclays Premier League table and some distance away from the top four. But with a make-or-break Champions League tie to contend with, there is no time for sorrow and David Moyes must find a way to galvanise his players ahead of facing Olympiacos at Old Trafford. The Greeks hold a 2-0 lead from the first leg in Piraeus, which means they will qualify for the last eight if they avoid defeat by three clear goals. Michel’s men head to the Theatre of Dreams on a high, too, after sealing their 41st league title (with five games to spare) via a 2-0 win over Panthrakikos FC on Saturday. Ins and outs: Juan Mata is ineligible to play, having already featured in this season’s competition with Chelsea, and will therefore take his seat in the stands. Shinji Kagawa might be recalled, while Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young could both return after sitting out Sunday’s match. Chris Smalling remains a doubt with a hamstring injury but Nani could make his first appearance since 7 December. Meanwhile, Olympiacos are likely to be without experienced campaigner Javier Saviola, the former Real Madrid and Barcelona striker, who is struggling for match fitness. Betting: Official betting partners bwin have United priced at odds of 2.60 to win the tie and Olympiacos as favourites at 1.46. You can also back the Reds to win 3-0, the result that is needed to ensure qualification, at 9.75. Last meeting: Late last month, United produced a laboured performance and succumbed to a 2-0 defeat via goals in each half from Alejandro Dominguez and Joel Campbell. Moyes described the display at the Karaiskakis Stadium as "the worst we've played in Europe, that's for sure". The boss continued: "It was a really poor performance. We didn't get going from the start. We didn't deserve anything from tonight." Did you know? The first leg of this round of 16 tie was United’s 250th match in the European Cup, or the Champions League as it is now known. The Reds have claimed 140 victories, 61 draws and 49 defeats during that time, scoring 464 goals and conceding 236. The manager: Olympiacos are managed by Michel, a 50-year-old former Spain midfielder who took over the club 13 months ago. He guided them to their 40th league title in his first season and, as mentioned, oversaw their 41st on Saturday. Speaking after that triumph, he told reporters: “After the celebrations and the joy, we will be ready for United. The league title will make the trip more enjoyable. But we need to stay focused. If we think we have the upper hand in the tie, we will fail.” Star man: With top scorer Kostas Mitroglou now playing for Fulham and Saviola injured, Olympiacos' main goal threat is arguably Joel Campbell. The 21-year-old Costa Rica forward is on loan from Arsenal and hopes to build on a positive first-leg performance in Manchester: "We played very well against a very good team and we weren't intimidated. There is still a very hard game at Old Trafford and we hope to advance to the next round." Quote/unquote: "Of course, everybody knows it will be hard after the first result but it is definitely not impossible. We just need to play differently to how we did in the first game and be more adventurous. We are playing at Old Trafford and with our supporters behind us, anything is possible." – Rafael, speaking in Wednesday’s edition of United Review. Whistle-blower: Dutch referee Bjorn Kuipers will take charge of his third Champions League match of the season on Wednesday. The two previous outings were Manchester City’s 3-2 defeat to Bayern Munich at the Etihad Stadium and Arsenal’s 1-0 win at Borussia Dortmund. Rivals watch: Jurgen Klopp’s Dortmund host Zenit St Petersburg in Germany on Wednesday, hoping to build on their 4-2 lead from the first leg. HTML Code:

Optimis MU bisa menang di leg 2 besok....
tpi klu di tanya apakah MU bisa lolos ke stage selanjutnya, mungkin peluangnya tidak lebih dari 55%. Tapi, yah.... Namanya saja bola itu bundar. Jadi apapun bisa terjadi nanti di lapangan. Yg penting ane pasti ttp akan ngedukung MU sampai kapanpun... *Keep Support Manchester United Till I Die*

Re: [UCL] Manchester United vs Olympiakos Piraeus (2nd leg)
