Re: [2017/2018] Man United Fixtures
UNITED'S FA CUP DATE CONFIRMED
Manchester United have been drawn at home to Championship club Derby County in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup. The tie will be played on Friday 5 January 2018 with kick-off at 20:00 GMT but the match will not be shown on live TV in the UK. The Reds' pairing with the Rams was announced during Monday night's televised draw at the home of non-league side Slough Town, prior to their second-round tie against League One club Rochdale. The draw was made by former England midfielders Glenn Hoddle and Jermaine Jenas. United's last two meetings with Derby have both come in the FA Cup at Pride Park. The Reds won 3-1 in the fourth round en route to winning the competition under Louis van Gaal in 2015/16, with Daley Blind, Juan Mata and Wayne Rooney all on the scoresheet. Sir Alex Ferguson was in charge for the previous clash, an emphatic 4-1 triumph in the fifth round of 2008/09. The forthcoming clash at Old Trafford will be Derby's first match at the stadium since that same 2008/09 season, when they also faced the Reds in the League Cup semi-final. The Rams lost 4-2 in Manchester on 20 January 2009, having won the first leg at Pride Park 1-0. The other eye-catching ties in the third round include the all-Premier League fixtures between Liverpool and their neighbours Everton, Manchester City hosting a North-West derby with Burnley and Brighton and Hove Albion receiving a visit from Crystal Palace. Cup holders Arsenal are away to Nottingham Forest and Chelsea have also been given a road trip, to Norwich City. Arsenal, the side defeated by United in Saturday's thrilling Premier League match, are the only club to have won the FA Cup more times than the Reds with 13 triumphs to 12. Jose Mourinho's bid to lift the trophy in his first campaign at the Old Trafford helm ended in last season's quarter-finals, with a slender 1-0 defeat at his former club Chelsea. FULL THIRD-ROUND DRAW Ipswich Town v Sheffield United Watford v Bristol City Birmingham City v Burton Albion Liverpool v Everton Brighton & Hove Albion v Crystal Palace Aston Villa v Woking or Peterborough Bournemouth v AFC Fylde or Wigan Athletic Coventry City v Stoke City Newport County v Leeds United Bolton Wanderers v Huddersfield Town Port Vale or Yeovil Town v Bradford City Nottingham Forest v Arsenal Brentford v Notts County QPR v MK Dons Manchester United v Derby County Forest Green Rovers or Exeter City v West Brom Doncaster Rovers v Rochdale Tottenham v AFC Wimbledon Middlesbrough v Sunderland Fleetwood or Hereford v Leicester City Blackburn or Crewe v Hull City Cardiff v Mansfield Manchester City v Burnley Shrewsbury v West Ham Wolves v Swansea Stevenage v Reading Newcastle v Luton Millwall v Barnsley Fulham v Southampton Wycombe v Preston Norwich v Chelsea Gillingham or Carlisle v Sheffield Wednesday HTML Code:

Re: [2017/2018] Man United Fixtures
FA Cup: Who will United face in round five? Manchester United will be away to either Birmingham City or Huddersfield Town in the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup, with the eventual fixture set to be played between 16 and 19 February. The tie was one of eight drawn out by Dutch football legend Ruud Gullit and former United youth-team player Robbie Savage on Monday evening, three days after the Reds secured a place among the last 16 teams in the competition by winning 4-0 away to League Two club Yeovil Town. Huddersfield Town were held 1-1 at home by Birmingham City in their original fourth-round meeting on Saturday after Lukas Jutkiewicz's second-half equaliser cancelled out Steve Mounie's opener for the Premier League side. The two sides will contest the right to host the Reds when they meet again in a replay at St Andrew's on Tuesday night next week. The ultimate FA Cup objective for Jose Mourinho and his players is to win the final on 19 May 2018. Victory on that day at Wembley would put the club's name on the trophy for the 13th time overall, a record that would be shared with last season's winners Arsenal. The Gunners were knocked out in the third round and they have since been joined on the eliminated list by another Premier League top-six side, Liverpool, who lost 3-2 at home to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday night. FULL FIFTH-ROUND DRAW Sheffield Wednesday v Notts County or Swansea City West Bromwich Albion v Southampton Chelsea v Hull City Leicester City v Sheffield United Huddersfield Town or Birmingham City v Manchester United Millwall or Rochdale v Newport County or Tottenham Hotspur Brighton & Hove Albion v Coventry City Wigan Athletic v Manchester City www.manutd.com

Re: [2017/2018] Man United Fixtures
UNITED'S APRIL TV GAMES CONFIRMED All four of Manchester United’s Premier League fixtures currently scheduled for April have been moved to accommodate live television coverage in the UK. The eagerly awaited derby against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium is set to be an early evening kick-off on Saturday 7 April at 17:30 BST and will be shown live on Sky Sports. However, it is subject to either team participating in the UEFA Champions League the following Tuesday. The Reds’ home clash with West Bromwich Albion will now take place on Sunday 15 April, with a 16:00 BST kick-off at Old Trafford, and will also be screened on Sky Sports. The following week, United travel to Bournemouth and the game at the Vitality Stadium is due to be played on Saturday 21 April, with a provisional kick-off time of 17:30 BST, live on BT Sport. However, this could change if the Reds reach the semi-finals of the Emirates FA Cup – which are set to be staged at Wembley over that weekend. The month ends for the Reds with the anticipated visit of Arsenal to the Theatre of Dreams, which is scheduled for Sunday 29 April at 16:30 BST and will be shown live on Sky Sports. This is also subject to change, if United are involved in the Champions League the following Tuesday. A new date is also yet to be arranged for United’s Premier League trip to West Ham United, which was originally scheduled for Sunday 18 March but was postponed to accommodate the Reds’ Emirates FA Cup quarter-final tie against Brighton at Old Trafford the day before. UNITED’S PREMIER LEAGUE GAMES IN APRIL Saturday 7 April: Away v Manchester City (17:30 BST, live on Sky Sports) * Sunday 15 April: Home v West Bromwich Albion (16:00 BST, live on Sky Sports) Saturday 21 April: Away v Bournemouth (17:30 BST, live on BT Sport) * Sunday 29 April: Home v Arsenal (16:30 BST, live on Sky Sports) * * Subject to change www.manutd.com |

Re: [2017/2018] Man United Fixtures
DATES FIXED FOR TWO UNITED LEAGUE GAMES A date has been set for Manchester United’s Premier League fixture away to West Ham United. The Reds will travel to the London Stadium on Thursday 10 May for an evening clash. It will kick off at 19:45 BST and will be shown live on Sky Sports in the UK. Meanwhile, it has also been confirmed that United’s clash away to Brighton & Hove Albion will be played on Friday 4 May. The game will kick off at 20:00 BST and will also be screened on Sky Sports in the UK. It follows the announcement of the latest TV selections on Wednesday afternoon. THURSDAY NIGHT TRIP TO THE HAMMERS United’s penultimate league match of the campaign will see the Reds make the long journey to the capital, to face a West Ham side that is currently just five points above the bottom three in 14th place and could still be battling to avoid relegation following a turbulent campaign. The fixture will pit United against former boss David Moyes, who took over from Slaven Bilic last November following the Croatian’s departure. United can complete the double over the Hammers, who were thrashed 4-0 at Old Trafford on the opening weekend of the season thanks to goals from Romelu Lukaku (2), Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba. As was the case when United faced Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park last month on a Monday evening, the scheduling of the game could prove to be problematic for travelling fans on a weekday night. It’s only our second ever visit to the London Stadium and the first time the Reds will play a league game on a Thursday night since the goalless draw at Manchester City on 27 April 2017. FRIDAY VISIT TO THE SOUTH COAST United will begin the month of May with a first ever trip to the Amex Stadium, which will also be our first Friday night game in the Premier League this season. Of course, the Reds have already contested two FA Cup ties on the same evening this season, against Derby County and Yeovil Town back in January. Again, it presents a lengthy round trip of more than 500 miles for the travelling United faithful, though they will relish the prospect of ticking off another new away ground. Currently sitting six points above the drop zone in 13th position, the Seagulls are edging towards safety and securing a second successive season of Premier League football following their promotion last term. The Reds have already beaten Chris Hughton’s side twice at Old Trafford this term, with a 1-0 victory in the league in November and 2-0 win in an FA Cup quarter-final last month. CONFIRMED FIXTURES Friday 4 May: v Brighton & Hove Albion (A) KO 19:45 BST, live on Sky Sports Thursday 10 May: v West Ham United (A) KO 19:45 BST, live on Sky Sports www.manutd.com |
