A heartbroken Lionel Messi has declared he is retiring from the Argentine national team.

The forward missed a penalty in the Copa America Centenario final shoot-out against Chile as his team lost their third final in three years.

Messi, who was in tears after the match, spoke after the game to Argentine television and explained his decision. 'That's it. It's over for me with the national team,' he explained.

trophy bersama Barca udah 28, tapi bersama timnas masih nihil, medali emas di Olympiade Beijing 2008 itu terjadi di timnas junior. apalagi Argentina gagal di 3 final terakhir di 3 tahun terakhir, final piala dunia 2014, final Copa America 2015 & 2016. jadi wajar saja Messi pensiun, karena merasa gagal & menjadi 'pembawa sial'

Selamat buat Chile yang berhasil membuktikan diri bisa juara di luar negaranya sendiri setelah tahun lalu meraih Copa America pertama mereka..

Kalau boleh bilang sih seharusnya Argentina bisa menang lah, apalagi di menit2 akhir Sanchez & Vargaz diganti.
