Premier League TV picks for October REVEALED: Manchester United v Liverpool selected for a late Saturday kick-off... while Arsenal face awkward Monday night trip to Sheffield United

The Premier League fixtures selected for live broadcast in October have been announced, with Manchester United's clash at home to Liverpool set to be shown on Sky Sports.

The game is currently scheduled to take place at 5.30pm on Saturday October 19 but may move to the following day at 4.30pm due to Liverpool's involvement in the Champions League.

As reported by the Premier League's official website, other games selected for broadcast include Liverpool vs Tottenham, which will be shown on Sky Sports, kicking off at 4.30pm on October 27.


Manchester United's game at home to Liverpool will be shown live on Sky Sports

Arsenal, meanwhile, will face Sheffield United away on Monday October 21, with the Gunners set to be in Europa League action just three days later.

Brighton face Tottenham on October 5 as the month's live action gets underway on BT Sport, with West Ham playing Crystal Palace later that day in a clash broadcast on Sky Sports.

The pick of the games on October 6 sees Newcastle host Manchester United, with the game kicking off at 4.30pm and being shown on Sky Sports.

On October 20, meanwhile, defending champions Manchester City face Crystal Palace away at 4.30pm on Sky Sports.

Six days later, City are in action again, this time hosting Aston Villa at 12.30pm in another game shown on BT Sport. At 5.30pm Sky Sports will show Burnley's game against Chelsea.
