Crawley Town player's very special Old Trafford souvenir

Crawley fans may have taken away happy memories for a lifetime from Manchester on Saturday.

But star player Sergio Torres went one step further by taking a piece of the pitch home with him.

The charismatic Argentine grabbed a few blades of the hallowed Old Trafford turf to mark the club’s historic performance.

He is now putting the blades of grass with his boots from the game and Michael Carrick’s shirt in a special glass frame that will take pride of place in his home.

Sergio told The Argus: “I didn’t think about doing it before the game at all.

“After the match I was looking down at the pitch and I just suddenly thought I would take a bit of grass, I didn’t think anybody was looking at me doing it.

“My dream has always been to play at Old Trafford and Wembley so hopefully I might play at Wembley next year for the play-offs.”

The 27-year-old, who watched English football in Argentina as a boy, bought 19 tickets for friends and family to see the game including for his dad who travelled from Argentina, his former supervisor from when he worked at Boots and the family he lived with in Basingstoke.

hahaha.. cukup mengharukan juga sih..hehehe
hebat, selama match kemaren gw cuma seneng bgt liat bagaimana pemain crawley kyk salah tingkah gt saking senengnya, meskipun kalah, apalagi si Hunt yg dpt jersey nya roo....
