Melawan tim yang menggunakan skema 3-4-3 dengan mengandalkan "libero" pada diri David Luiz kayanya tidak sesulit menghadapi LFC bbrpa hari lalu. Penasaran ingin melihat duel Pogba- Kante macam apa. :D

Manchester United cool on London travels trouble ahead of Chelsea trip after arriving late last season

* Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho returns to Chelsea on Sunday
* The Red Devils were late for two away fixtures in London last season
* However, United will not change their plans ahead of fixture in capital

Despite turning up late at both Tottenham and West Ham United last season Manchester United will not change their travel plans when they head to London this weekend.

Jose Mourinho’s men take on his former employers Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday in a 4pm kick-off.

United’s visits to White Hart Lane and Upton Park resulted in late starts last season, leading to criticism over the travelling party’s arrangements.

The Premier League, who can fine a club £5,000 for a late arrival, were satisfied that both instances of poor punctuality were as a result of freak factors out of United’s control.

For the clash against Spurs, United’s coach took a police-advised detour after a crash triggered heavy traffic and ended up heading towards a bridge which was lower than the roof of their vehicle. The coach driver had to take another diversion.

That match, scheduled for a 4pm start, was put back to 4.30pm and United lost 3-0.

Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho returns to his former club in the capital on Sunday afternoon

There was more trouble on the way to West Ham for the last game at Upton Park.

United were within yards of the ground when home fans blocked their path and launched missiles at the windows. That fixture, scheduled for an 7.45pm start, eventually kicked off at 8.30pm.

It is thought United will be back at their regular Westminster base for the trip to Chelsea on Sunday, a 4.7-mile journey which should take just 25 minutes, allowing for normal London traffic.

Meanwhile, Sportsmail can also reveal that Mourinho and Wayne Rooney delivered a rollicking to the club’s head of travel following United’s ill-fated pre-season tour of China.

Both manager and captain made their feelings on the trip clear to the club employee in a severe dressing-down that stunned onlookers. The cancellation of the Beijing clash against Manchester City was out of the employee’s hands, but the view was that facilities and transport on the trip left a lot to be desired.

United, who take on Tottenham on May 13 in what is likely to be Spurs’ last outing at White Hart Lane before their stadium is demolished, declined to comment.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho won't receive special treatment at Stamford Bridge as he returns to former club Chelsea

* Jose Mourinho will return to Chelsea for the first time since being sacked
* Mourinho will face the Blues for the first time as Manchester United boss
* Only once has he returned to Stamford Bridge with another club
* The Portuguese won't be afforded special treatment and 'Special One' banners will be rejected by supporters

Jose Mourinho will not be afforded any special treatment by Chelsea when he returns this weekend.

The Manchester United manager is back at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon for the first time since his sacking last December.

It is the second occasion Mourinho has travelled to west London as an opposing boss. The first, when with Inter Milan in 2010, ended in dumping his old employers out of the Champions League.

That defeat did not stop Chelsea fans singing about the Portuguese - and he was given a rousing reception before the last-16 second leg as well.

Mourinho’s name was read out over the club’s PA system and met with lengthy chants of his name from many in the home sections.

Sportsmail understands, however, that his return with United will be different this weekend. Staff at Chelsea still remain fond of Mourinho but are mindful of the importance Sunday’s game has on their own Premier League aspirations under Antonio Conte.

Mourinho has only once returned to Chelsea as boss of another club, with Inter Milan in 2010

Mourinho will be warmly greeted by Chelsea officials but after taking up a position with a Premier League rival there will not be the same celebratory feel as with Inter Milan six years ago. As such, he will be treated like any other visiting boss.

The 53-year-old would usually be expected to remain down in London to spend time with his family but should make a quick exit with the squad after full-time as they prepare for Wednesday’s EFL Cup game against Manchester City.

There is also the acrimonious fallout following Mourinho’s departure last year, including an embarrassing constructive dismissal case filed by Eva Carneiro.

Mourinho and Chelsea agreed to a settlement stretching into the millions with the former doctor, who accused the former of victimisation and discrimination, claiming he labelled her a ‘daughter of a whore’ during an unedifying incident at the beginning of last season.

Fans are split on their former boss and there will no great displays of affection from the stands, with the suggestion any ‘Special One’ banners will be unfurled rejected by supporters.

Banners will be absent as Mourinho returns as a rival Premier League manager for the first time

They will be more focused on former director Matthew Harding, marking the 20th anniversary of his tragic death with a huge 100ft banner pre-match.

‘It will be a strange day for Jose as we know he still has great affection for our club,’ Chelsea legend Pat Nevin told the club’s official website.

‘He will however still be desperate to win against us obviously. More pertinently, he will turn up knowing that his team have been stressed far more than Chelsea in the preceding days.’

CHELSEA'S CONTE ON FACING MOURINHO AND POGBA

Although Jose Mourinho does “not care” about the reception he receives from Chelsea fans on Sunday, his successor at Stamford Bridge, Antonio Conte, feels the former Blues boss deserves a warm welcome.

The Manchester United manager told reporters this week that he is more concerned about securing three important Premier League points for the Reds than his own return to west London, which is notably his first match against the Blues since departing last season.

Conte was recruited by Chelsea in the summer and the former Italy coach had a few kind words for Jose at his own pre-match press conference. “I have great respect for Mourinho,” he said. “He deserves a good reception. He was an important man for Chelsea and wrote part of the club's story. He's a great manager. He won a lot in his career. I think that he deserves the maximum respect.”

Another sub-plot that underpins Sunday’s big match is United’s summer signing Paul Pogba facing his former boss at Juventus in Conte, with whom he won two Series A titles in Italy.

“He was born in England in a football aspect and he came back,” Conte said. “A fantastic player! Coming back to United was his dream. I wish for him all the best, but only after the game.”

Conte also confirmed on Friday that influential defender John Terry is fit and available for selection, despite newspaper reports claiming the 35-year-old had aggravated ankle ligaments this week.

“John is in good shape,” the Chelsea manager revealed to reporters. “He trained with the team. He solved his problem with his ankle and he's available for the game.”

Meanwhile, United could be without defender Chris Smalling after he suffered a slight injury during the 4-1 win over Fenerbahce on Thursday night. Henrikh Mkhitaryan is edging closer to a return, though.
