Akhirnya...

Nggak United banget. :(

KM Bailly asem banget. Pake acara KM segala. Meski sama main 10 pemain tapi kerugian besar buat United main di final tanpa dia. Dia bek terbaik United.

Alhamdulillah...akhirnya MU lolos juga ke final...deg2'an bgd sejak Bailly diKM...lbh deg2'an lagi wasit kasih ekstra time 6 menit.

Bailly pake acara berantem pula..ya red card lah..

Bener-bener apes match barusan.

Amin.

Apa sebaiknya Smalling Jones dipingit sampe malam final ya? Daripada cedera. :hammer:

Bener tuh...harus dijaga baik2 Smalling n Jones...sisa match EPL Bailly aja beknya ditemenin sm dua bek reserve...Tuanzebe n Olosunde.

Re: [UEL] Manchester United vs Celta Vigo

http://www.manutd.com/sitecore/shell...,160,3000,1853Mourinho thrilled as Reds reach final

Jose Mourinho was naturally delighted after his Manchester United team overcame Celta Vigo in dramatic fashion on Thursday night to reach the Europa League final later this month.

The Reds took the lead in the second leg through Marouane Fellaini's first-half header to go 2-0 up on aggregate but there was a tense finish after the visitors from Spain equalised and subsequently the goalscorer Facundo Roncaglia and United centre-back Eric Bailly were both sent off.
Here's what the manager had to say in his post-match interviews, on BT Sport and MUTV...

DIFFICULT SECOND LEG - AS EXPECTED

"I could guess from the first match because it was similar to Anderlecht. When you are the best team by far in the first leg, you have to kill everything in the first leg. We don't because we never kill, we never score goals related to the chances we have. And then we got an open game at home with all the pressure on our side with them completely free of pressure and responsibility and they gave us a very hard match."

RESPECT FOR CELTA VIGO
"They came as heroes, a small city, a small club that did amazingly well, with nothing to lose. So [they] dominated by the mental point of view – they did very well, they gave us a very difficult second half. So we had to suffer until the end and everything was open until the last second. The boys didn't play a phenomenal match but they fought, they gave everything they had to give and I'm really pleased for them because 14 matches and we are in the final so it's good."

BAILLY SENT OFF AND MISSES THE FINAL
"I didn't see the incident but he was phenomenal. The game was emotional until the end for everyone. Some kept their control in a better way than others. And I think it was the wrong card. The wrong card is not new in this kind of situation and probably Eric was a bit naive. I don't know [the details of] the incident but we have lost a very important player for the final and we don't have many."

AJAX v UNITED IN STOCKHOLM
"First of all two monsters – the history of Manchester United and the history of Ajax is amazing. But for us [if we win] it’s a trophy and the Champions League for next season. Finals are always fun, and the Europa League is a big, beautiful competition."

MANAGERIAL RECORD V AJAX - PLAYED 6, WON 6
"It means nothing. A final is a final and I played Ajax with Real Madrid all the six matches. It will be difficult. They are a young team, strong team and they finished their league this weekend."

AJAX CAN REST WHILE UNITED WORK AND PLAY
"They will have 12 days to prepare for the final and we will have three matches in the Premier League to play with a group of 15-16 players after a crazy season with so many matches. We have played so many matches because we progressed to two finals and the last 16 in the FA Cup. I have to say thank you to [referee] Michael Oliver for that red card to Ander Herrera because we couldn’t survive going further in the FA Cup. So let's try to prepare the team as best we can."

BETTER TO QUALIFY FOR THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE THIS WAY
"Of course it's better because it's a trophy. It's the second trophy of course in Europe and it's an important trophy. It gives you the European Super Cup to play for in August so it's a big, big match for us in Stockholm."

EUROPA LEAGUE + EFL CUP = SUCCESSFUL FIRST SEASON?
"I am more than happy, more than happy if we win the Europa League. It was so difficult, so hard for me this season, so if we manage to do that it will be amazing."

AND AFTER THE FINAL...?
"It’s the last match of our season, but I feel sorry for my boys who have to play the international games after. They should go to a spa after almost 70 matches, not go to their national teams."

http://www.manutd.com/sitecore/shell...,196,4520,2753Ander Herrera: It was a crazy game

Ander Herrera admits Manchester United’s players made life hard for themselves against Celta Vigo but is delighted the team’s hard work has paid off with a place in the Europa League final.

The Reds booked a date with Ajax in the Stockholm showpiece on 24 May after a 2-1 aggregate victory over Celta, with Marouane Fellaini’s goal proving decisive in Thursday’s 1-1, second-leg draw at Old Trafford.

United were dominant in last week’s 1-0 first-leg win in Spain but Celta were arguably the better side in Manchester and, after Facundo Roncaglia netted a late equaliser, they spurned a great chance at the death to eliminate the Reds on away goals.

Herrera admitted to BT Sport: “It was a crazy game. We were better in the first leg and deserved to get a better result, and today we suffered. “You cannot win a semi-final easily. They were playing the game of their lives and we knew that in advance. But we are in the final – this is what counts.

“We are very happy because we have fought very hard to be here, and now we are going to try to win it. We have played a lot of games in a row; it has been a crazy schedule but now we have to go to the final with everything and it can be a very good season.”

Man of the Match Fellaini, who opened the scoring with a 17th-minute header, United’s 100th goal of the season, was asked about the Reds’ final opponents Ajax, who battled past Lyon 5-4 on aggregate despite losing the second leg 3-1 in France.

“We watched the first game against Lyon and they played very well – they have very talented players and it will be a tough game in Stockholm,” the Belgian said. “But we will be ready: we have the experience and the players. We will give everything to win.”

Europa League | 11 May 2017 | Old Trafford | Attendance: 75,138 | Scorers: Fellaini 17, Roncaglia 85.

Manchester United booked a place opposite Ajax in the UEFA Europa League final on 24 May in Stockholm after a competitive 1-1 draw against Celta Vigo at Old Trafford on Thursday.

A first-half header from Marouane Fellaini was cancelled out by Facundo Roncaglia four minutes from time but ultimately ensured United’s safe passage to Sweden, after a dramatic semi-final second leg which ended with both sides reduced to 10 men after Roncaglia and Eric Bailly were sent off following a flare-up after the equaliser.

Jose Mourinho fielded an unchanged starting line-up following the 1-0 first leg win in Spain as the Reds looked to extend the club's 17-match unbeaten home run in Europe.

Despite winning all six home Europa League matches this season, it was the visitors who started brightest as former Liverpool man Iago Aspas forced Sergio Romero into a save inside five minutes after cutting in smartly from the right wing.

With Celta Vigo controlling the early possession, it took an individual piece of brilliance in the centre of the park from Paul Pogba to ignite United as he set Marcus Rashford away on the counter-attack, but it was well cut-out.That was a promising sign of things to come from the Reds who took the lead on 17 minutes as Rashford’s sumptuous cross from the left was clinically met by Fellaini at the far post.

The Belgian’s fourth goal of the season was also United’s 100th of the 2016/17 campaign and the midfielder has now scored in FA Cup, EFL Cup and Europa League semi-final matches for United.

That goal ignited Old Trafford and the hosts could have doubled their lead minutes later as Rashford’s clever turn of pace set him free once more but the ball was pinched off his toe as he looked to strike at goal.

It remained an open encounter for much of the half but chances were at a premium with both sides limiting the opposition to long-range attempts.
As the half looked set to peter out, Eduardo Berizzo’s side increased the tempo and were nearly level after tricky play on the left from Pione Sisto allowed him to whip a low cross across the box which Daniel Wass dived low to head wide with Romero stranded.

The Spaniards began the second half as they did the first, taking the game to United and were almost level inside 60 seconds of the restart as their right-back and captain Mallo almost caught Romero out with a swift cross across the box from the right.

Both sides cancelled each other out with a ferocious midfield battle and despite their dominance in possession, Celta Vigo struggled to find a way back into the tie.

As Mourinho urged his players on from his technical area they responded well and first Rashford, then Fellaini, brought good saves out of Alvarez with low strikes inside the box.

Finding themselves 2-0 down on aggregate it was the visitors who pushed hardest for the next goal in the game and former Manchester City striker John Guidetti was culpable of missing a good chance when he headed wide after finding space between Eric Bailly and Daley Blind.

There were, however, more twists left in the game and the Spanish side were level on the night with five minutes remaining after a cross from the right was glanced home smartly by Roncaglia.

Yet moments later tempers from both sets of players spilled over and following a melee, referee Ovidiu Hategan sent both Bailly and Celta goalscorer Roncaglia off.

The two players continued their war of words as they headed down the tunnel and despite the late drama, the Reds showed big-game experience to hold on and ensure the Europa League journey extends to the final destination in Stockholm later this month.

Mourinho’s side have three league games before then with a trip to face Tottenham at White Hart Lane being the next task on Sunday afternoon.
